My first challenge ride is tomorrow morning -- guess I better get to bed. Night!! hmmm maybe we need an alternate image???? Enjoy your ride tomorrow!!
Im trying to decide if a workout will make my cold worse or better... sniff sniff sniff... yesterdays workout didnt seem to hurt me any... And I can always pull the plug and go home... Just don't overdo it and make it worse!! Got my trainer ride in this morning. It was supposed to be a threshhold test but I'm not sure I rode hard enough. I really don't like pain, especially self-imposed pain. Guess that's why spinning classes are popular -- can't wimp out in a crowd.
X 2 on the pain. Maybe thats why I am so damn slow LOL!
Its definatley easier to hurt yourself with witnesses... but you can even flake out during a spin class if you really want... I usually work hardest when I want to impress someone X 2!!! I also do my best when I am in a group of people and especially if I am trying to impress someone LOL
Its like the golden rule of how to train hard

At least we can give each other some sympathy! So, 3 of the 32 are done for the month!
What is Jorge's plan? Sounds like I need it. Although 32 workouts in a 31 day month sounds scary. Are there rest days?
Jorge's plan is only 3x/week and you're supposed to have 48 hours btwn wo's. I like how short they are.... for now |

They're pretty tough, trying to raise LT threshold. The day off in between is to get the most out of each wo, i suppose. I still do something everyday, but am only riding 3-4 x/week and the 4th is an easy spin outside (when it's not snowing). His thread is under the Mentor section -- check it out. |
