Master 1726 Sacramento, California | Subject: RE: X-Men Morning all- Everyone is doing a great job with their workouts! I am really impressed! As for me I rode yesterday...I am debating what to do today...I think just some strength and crunches as my mom gets here today and we are going out for a special dinner. That means I will move my run to tomorrow...swim in the morning...run in the afternoon....and then move my bike to Friday and keep my longer run on Saturday... yes I think that is the plan Does any one else have to do this...move stuff around mid week...I hate to but it seems like I am always doing it. |

NADA. ZILCH. ZIPPO. at least i got dinner made before it went KAPLOOEY. now we either have to get a repair man out to fix it in the next two days OR buy a new stove and have it installed BY SATURDAY. not easy im thinking what w the holiday and all. GEESH. LIFE. GOTTA LOVE IT. ACK! That isn't good. Hope you can get it fixed soon! Doesn't Lowe's have a next day delivery thing? Hopefully you can fix yours though. Major bummer about the brownies though! That stinks so sorry about that! Hopefully you can get it fixed! |

Uxbridge | Subject: RE: X-Men Katie I move stuff around all the time. I have to with my work schedule. I sometimes have to work late and dont get home til 2 am...no way I am going for a long run after that. When I have followed BT plans in the past I have never had a problem completing a race and actually I usually exceed my expectations. Just put in the time and you will do fine |

I'm another one who moves things around all the time. Especially swimming. I fit it in when I can but to be honest, I worry more about running and biking. If something has to get pushed to the side, it's swimming for me. Life happens as we all know and as long as you are doing your best to get most of the training done, I think it's fine. That being said, this is my first time using a BT training plan so I might not have a clue what I am talking about! I'll defer to mav on that one! |

That being said, this is my first time using a BT training plan so I might not have a clue what I am talking about! I'll defer to mav on that one! im with MAV AND ERICA. i move stuff around too. i have a 'hard' time doing it though. i figure its on the plan the plan for a reason so i 'must' do it as planned. OK. im a little OCD ive learned over time how to be more 'flexible'. for me THATs the key. also ive learned how to let workouts go by the wayside. thats even harder for me. but im learning how to do it more often. i think sometimes for me its a lack of experience too. and i sometimes 'doubt' myself, whether i know enough about trng to be able to make good choices about trng session. the more i learn though, the more confident i become, and the more i trust my ability to make good decisions in regards to my trng. i have to constantly remind myself life is life and trng is just a part of my life. and life happens. things come up - expected or unexpected. and theres often a way 'through' but sometimes you just need to 'give in' and do what you need to do even if that means shortening a workout, or dropping a workout, or like you said, moving things around so it 'works' w your life. i need to remind myself that im gonna do 'just fine' competing in my event even if i didnt excute the plan 'perfectly', again thats where my 'anxiety' comes in. id like to be able to do the plan as is, but....life is life. and things usually turn out better than i expect them to anyways [when it comes to events....] Edited by skrtrnr 2009-04-08 1:43 PM |

Champion 6225 | Subject: RE: X-Men thanks for all the oven well-wishes. my husband and discussed it and since the oven is 13-14 yrs old, theres no use in getting it fixed, for it to break again soon. so were in the market for a new stove. which is OK thing cept its a holiday weekend, and were busy the next two evenings so we cant go oven shopping. id really like to spend that money on something OTHER than a stove. a NEW SWIFTIER BIKE PERHAPS!!!! creams my corn. here the dryer is going too. just our luck w the tax return on its way! :P soooooooooooo. its not looking like a new stove will be installed by Saturday, so were moving the family swaree to my bro/sister in laws house that way were in not in a rush to find/buy something just to find/buy it....and we can take our time find what we want and have it installed when its conveinent. i can live wout a stove for a few days - maybe we'll have to order take out and i wont have to cook as much. DAMN! i dont like to cook anyways, id rather have a new BIKE than a new stove....though. you cant bake brownies in/on a bike.... |

Still looking for a Christmas and birthday gift. UGH! |

Yeah, still trying to think of unusual stuff that he can use while underway. Tough task! I did have a calander made up for him with pictures of the family and our recent vacations. Every few days/weeks, I plan to have him open a card or small gift. It's a lot of work but it will totally be worth it! For Easter, Cole's tie is bright green and white stripes. Liam's is pink, gray and white stipes. Alex's dress is pink. Cole loves any tie, it doesn't matter what color. Liam actually likes his. Big surprise. I am not sure if Alex likes her dress but I do so that is all that matters! I am wearing a white button down shirt (3/4 length sleeves) and a gray skirt. Or maybe a khaki skirt and blue pinstripe shirt. Hmmmmm. Good thing I have a few days! |
