I'm going to go on record and say I'm going sub 5:30. My last time a SM I did 6:56:21 (1st place clyde ). I'm tempted to try to gain 25 pounds in the next 2 weeks because I think I can go close to 6:00 at 200 You are a confident dude aren't you? I predicted my IMLP time within 6 minutes, despite all the naysayers ![Cool Cool](../jscripts/tiny_mce3.3rc1/plugins/emotions/img/smiley-cool.gif) Oh and Kyle - I eat pain for breakfast! are you trying to tell us that you're a thoroughbred in a donkey race? My wife has convinced me to race age group and not gain the 25 pounds (something about not touching it if she has to lift anything out of the way), so it should be a fair fight. So I'll actually be the bigger-than-most guy racing against the 140 pounders on SM climbs. SM is one race where being small framed really does pay off. All of this, of course, assuming he doesn't flat twice during the ride. ![](https://beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/images/emoticons/smile.gif) That's just a low blow man... I almost crashed on that second flat. And it cost me a $13 latex tube (and cost you a CO2 cartridge ). Hopefully Kyle's sweepers will get all the staples off the road... By the way - did you order your new cassette yet? Edited by JoshKaptur 2010-09-08 3:01 PM
