It will be a long time before I will be able to get in the distance that you do. And I don't think I will ever get it done as quickly. Same thing with sleeping. I usually get about 6 hours of sleep a night. Maybe 7 if I'm lucky. I don't know if I could sleep 9 hours if I wanted to. It would be nice to try though. 7 is my minimum but I luv 8-9 but the wife does not appreciate me being in bed at 8:00pm! If I go a week with only 6 hours or less a night, I am not pleasant to be around come Saturday so Saturday and Sunday are usually my sleep in days. I usually have a night were I can get an extra hour and I end up OK. The big problem is getting our teenage son to bed. He'll be off to college next year so maybe things will change then. I doubt it though. My wife usually gets about 5 hours of sleep a night. She's had days where she will work straight through the night and work the next day like it was a normal day, then come home and take a nap and be good to go. I don't know how she does it. She even seems happier when she gets less sleep. If I don't get the sleep, I can't think and get grumpy. |
