tri808 - 2010-03-05 12:03 AM It's only 8 pm now.  Just finished eating...If I can get to bed by 9, I can get my 9 hours of sleep...wake up at 6, and still hit my office fitness center for some ST before I start work.

Sounds like a plan.  Hope it works out for you!

I woke up at 7 instead and slept another hour.  It's been storming here, so I'm thinking my softball game tonight will get cancelled.  So I can fit in another workout

pdbman - 2010-03-05 12:49 PM Looks like you guys can sleep as well as you swim. It will be a long time before I will be able to get in the distance that you do. And I don't think I will ever get it done as quickly. Same thing with sleeping. I usually get about 6 hours of sleep a night. Maybe 7 if I'm lucky. I don't know if I could sleep 9 hours if I wanted to. It would be nice to try though.

7 is my minimum but I luv 8-9 but the wife does not appreciate me being in bed at 8:00pm!

If I go a week with only 6 hours or less a night, I am not pleasant to be around come Saturday so Saturday and Sunday are usually my sleep in days. I usually have a night were I can get an extra hour and I end up OK. The big problem is getting our teenage son to bed. He'll be off to college next year so maybe things will change then. I doubt it though.

My wife usually gets about 5 hours of sleep a night. She's had days where she will work straight through the night and work the next day like it was a normal day, then come home and take a nap and be good to go. I don't know how she does it. She even seems happier when she gets less sleep. If I don't get the sleep, I can't think and get grumpy.

mchally - 2010-03-05 10:56 AMI like burn notice, but the funniest part is how badly the part of michael is acted...or maybe his character is suppose to be like that, but he is so stiff in everything he does.  it just seems that little to no variation in the character's emotions/outward expression.

You got to love Fiona though.

Never heard of Burn Notice. What's it about?

For those of you that have Netflix, check out The IT Crowd. You can get the DVD or watch it online. It's a BBC comedy that we found recently. Very funny, especially if you work in IT. Some of our friends that are fans of The Office like this better than the Office.

We're slowly catching up.  We're only about 80 posts behind now. I guess they do have an advantage since they have more people on their team, but we're not going to use that as an excuse.

The IT Crowd has three main characters, the typical computer guy, the total computer geek, and the manager girl that knows nothing about computers. Basically its the interactions within the IT department and with the rest of the company. Pretty funny. If you are familiar with IT then there are a lot of hidden IT jokes you can pick up on as well.

plus they have an earlier start to the day...we just have to make sure to post a lot later in the evening/night while they are sleeping.

Yes plus I have helped because I know a lot of them over there and you guys are 2-3 hours behind me.

that is alright - it is all in good fun!
you just will have to count up all your posts and remove them from their total.

Hey Bill. You might need to boost your posting goal for this month again. You're almost there and its only five days into the month.

How about what time do you consider sleeping in?
Me - 7:00am no matter what time I go to bed!

During the week, its 7:00. Fridays can be pretty late for me sometimes. I usually don't get to sleep until around 2, sometimes as late as 5. Sleeping in on Saturday may be 10. Sundays its usually between 7-8.

Yes I will scare the other team and leave it at 8500 and go to 150% or something crazy like that

Do they have a cap on our max %? Last month they limited us to 105%.

Bill-I like the change from dorkface to muck raker. I went lurking to the east for a minute to see what was going on and saw that little exchange.

We've narrowed the lead down to 70 posts, but I'm going to have to take a break and get some work done. I'll check back in a little bit.

7:30 is the absolute latest I can wake up before work.

Ironically, I stay up later on Friday and Saturday night, but wake up earlier on Saturday and Sunday morning.  But I take naps during the weekend if possible.
