He saw a commercial that they have Star Wars toys in Happy Meals at McDonalds. Guess where we're going. That's ok. Whatever he wants today. My daughter and I made a cake last night. She decorated it then with my husband. He can icing a cake better than I can. Cake tonight at my house if you want any. Happy birthday to your son! Hope he has a great day. Glad he decided on something other than hot pockets. Although I might go for the hot pockets over McDonalds. I don't know about that Neal. Those fries are pretty darn tasty.... Tom, I am with you on those fries. Pass the salt and ketchup please. First of all Happy birthday to your son Ann! Secondly...you all are KILLING me with this talk of McD fries! |

Elite 3144 | Subject: RE: Ghoulie March (biking) Madness!!! Good afternoon Ghoulies! I just got back from a 3 mile run. The legs felt heavy today, like I haven't run in a few weeks or something. Man I've been lazy... Anyway, my pace was surprisingly quick considering my main goal was just to be steady. I even felt pretty strong coming up the big hill at mile 2 which was a very pleasant surprise. Next run is Sunday, depending on what happens at the event I'm voluntering for. I'll be at an aid station at the San Diego Gran Fondo at mile 40 for the 50 mile ride and mile 90 for the century crowd. We're expecting 2,300 riders throughout the day so we'll be keeping busy. Should be fun! If the weather is good I'm planning on biking there and back. |

While you're doing that you'll see we had a rockin' good time talking about bikes that would have been much more intelligent had you been in the village. Oh, and CONGRATS on the swim PR! Chat when you get back from your bike. I saw it and you were right - thanks for remembering me  Syracuse via car - too cold for bike today!Hey Bill! Glad you could sneak in for a bit. I have been outside all winter long but the sun is throwing me off and I am underdressing. I learned my lesson today but I am finally now just warming up! Needed 1 more layer and less wind! I knew you'd been riding all winter. I just figured it was extra cold or something today, but now I get it. That winter sun can be a misleading, rascally little devil in the northern latitudes. |

I ran outside last night...just 3 miles...I let the sun fool me into thinking it was warmer than it was...luckily I dressed as if it was cold, but the wind coming off the ice bergs on the lake really stung! Katie I made that mistake on my bike yesterday. I was way underdressed and had to cut it short because I could not warm up - that is not good! I did that the other day too. The sun's out, who needs gloves or a hat. Whoops! |
