John plays in a wiffle ball league on Wednesday nights but I think he is staying home due to a cracked rib from this weekend. If he stays home, I should get to the Y. Expert ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Hey guys - Sorry I have not been around much - I could probably spend a day just catching up on everything-haha. So I was somewhat able to stick to a workout and diet routine. Missed today but I will just make up for it on Friday. They had a small pool at the hotel that was about 12Y long but when I went to go yesterday there was about 20 kids in there so I decided it probably wouldn't be a good workout although I thought it would simulate an OWS. I realize I have turned into a total tri-geek. We are working on a cool project at Kennedy Space Center on the Shuttle Launch Pad 39B so I have been basically sitting on the pad for 10 hours a day watching my guys work. All day i wish I had my bike here because they have miles and miles of perfectly paved roads that I would kill to ride on. And then the crawler road that they roll the shuttle out on is miles of a stone paved road that would be great for running. But instead I can only dream of working out out here and then reality hits when I get back to the Ramada with the 1970's themed gym with a bike, old tread mill and beat up weight bench with a bunch of 3lb. weights - lol Looking forward to getting back home to get back on a regular schedule. Hope everyone has or had a great week and good luck with everyones upcoming races! |

Expert ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Weighed myself again this morning, and I lost 2 pounds! That doesn't sound like a lot, but I'm happy with it. I'm afraid I'll gain it back with exams next week, but I just have to get better with time management so that I don't miss any workouts. Ughhhh I'm dreading exams. Good luck to everyone racing this weekend! I wish I could be! I think I convinced Ryan to do a 5k with me in Kenosha that apparently has like obstacle courses on the run! That's the end of May, so we'll see! Have a good day! |

Extreme Veteran ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ![]() Wednesday night bootcamp class is posted on my log, another good class we have changed our location to one of our warmer weather locations at the request of the class, no cover if it rains, but it's a great park at the bottom of a very big and steep hill and another smaller hill, lots of grassy areas, a basketball court, tennis court and a playground. It is also a great location for a travelling class, where I can take them on a long walk their weights and exercise bands in hand and head to the wharf at the river. |

So many things factor in your weight on a daily basis. We still like you! ![]() Quick question...I noticed you have some nutrition on your logs on some days. Are those accurate? I ask b/c I noticed one day was under 700cal. I really hope you are eating more than that. Under eating can have negative effects on your body and most people should be getting at least 1000-1200 a day. Sometimes your body will retain fat just because it doesn't think you're taking in enough. I took in too few calories on a diet earlier this semester, and I saw zero results. Even the people on the biggest loser are taking in 1200! You're doing fine though! Don't worry about a small weight gain, just focus on long-term goals! You can do it! |

I have my first Oly, and I don't feel ready. :S I guess right now I am just focusing on getting through this weeks tri and then finals... and then.... My Oly. I biked the course ( Oly) and it is TOUGH, plus the weather in St George is CRAZY windy... I could barely breathe while riding. I guess that is all part of what's making me so nervous. SO PLEASE... PUSH ME!!!! I NEED IT!!!! ( and I love it ) |

In undergrad, I was in the gym for like 1.5-2 hours a day! I miss that a ton. I did my tri training and boot-camp style stuff every day. I want to get back to that! Hopefully this summer... Courtney - I want that jacket you have for sale! It's awesome. I have no money though, so I can't buy it anyway. It's funny that I've been searching through my stuff to see if I have anything to trade...hahaha. Good luck selling it though! How has everyone else been doing today? The forum has been kind of slow lately! |

I have been good about putting stuff in in the morning and then once I get home I forget or get busy with my little girl and home stuff. I have been eating at least 1200 calories a day....if not more! I did weigh myself again today and was 158.8 which is down a pound. I think I just didnt have a good weight day and I cannot weigh myself in everyday or I become too obsessive. I think I just need to make Thursday my weigh in days. We shall see...and it is only like 2 weeks since I really started "training" so I think it does take some time. Thanks again for the encouragement....it means a lot! |

My husband left for work around 5:30 this morning and I won't see him again until 8:30ish tonight. I plan on painting during naptime and after Logan goes to bed. Today's project is the boys' bathroom. I have three bathrooms and Joe's bedroom to paint over the next couple of weeks. It is really nice here so we will be running around the backyard a lot! John has another long day at work tomorrow. My sister is taking Joe for a few hours so I will get a good run in with Logan!! What does everyone have planned today? |
