Subject: RE: Racing Weight..quick update on my weight. I started the season at around 230. I was down around 222 fall of 2009 but hurt my foot and allowed the holiday food to get the better of me. I failed to reduce intake while my workouts decreased during my injury. By May I had dropped back down to the 222 mark for my first half mary and the Black Bear Oly. I then kicked it up a notch for HIM training. I left for Savageman weighing 209lbs. After the event I ate the free pulled pork sandwich and drank the water and Gatorade they provided. I stopped on the way home for a large coffee. When I got home I had two chicken sandwiches. The following morning (Monday ) I was shocked to see the scale report 201.8lbs. LOL I didn't work out Mon-Thursday of this week but I still have not seen the scale go any higher than 205.2 lbs. I'm pretty sure my water weight and glycogen storage is back up to normal so it appears 205 is my new weight. I am pretty happy about that. I think I'll shoot for 190lbs in 2011. 185lbs if I am able to register and train for the Rev3 Full IM like I'm hoping. |
