I am the furthest from a morning person in fact most of my workouts were at night pushing midnight and beyond. The problem I would find was consistency so for IMCDA next year I have made a goal to get up and get my first workout done right away in the morning.

So far it is going really good. I have gone to be earlier than normal but am asking myself if I want to fall back in my bad habits with less than stellar results or I want to make a change and that is usually all it takes and I am up. Never once have I regretted getting up and out the door.

..quick update on my weight.

I started the season at around 230.  I was down around 222 fall of 2009 but hurt my foot and allowed the holiday food to get the better of me.  I failed to reduce intake while my workouts decreased during my injury.

By May I had dropped back down to the 222 mark for my first half mary and the Black Bear Oly.  I then kicked it up a notch for HIM training.  I left for Savageman weighing 209lbs.  After the event I ate the free pulled pork sandwich and drank the water and Gatorade they provided.  I stopped on the way home for a large coffee.  When I got home I had two chicken sandwiches.  The following morning (Monday) I was shocked to see the scale report 201.8lbs.  LOL  I didn't work out Mon-Thursday of this week but I still have not seen the scale go any higher than 205.2 lbs.  I'm pretty sure my water weight and glycogen storage is back up to normal so it appears 205 is my new weight.  I am pretty happy about that.

I think I'll shoot for 190lbs in 2011.  185lbs if I am able to register and train for the Rev3 Full IM like I'm hoping.

Congratulations Michael!  That is pretty cool that you have levelled off after a week and still 4 lbs lighter!

I hit 220 today, but it was a race day, so that doesn't count, I guess . 220 = 50 pounds lost.

Looks like you are all doing great !

I am 142.2 this morning.   This whole month I have run only 3 times, a total 1h30m.  I have tried to eat healthy through some very stressful events that have happened in my life.

Now time to get back into some kind of consistent workouts.  I have no desire to ride my bike outside in the cold or even to run outside on these cold mornings so the trainer/treadmill is going to get some use.  Will attempt to get back to the pool a couple days/week as I do really enjoy swimming aside from the time it takes out of my day.

Go for it!!

I hit 219 today myself -- first time I've been there in 15-20 years. That is down FIFTY ONE pounds since I got off the couch in March. Can't believe what I've accomplished, but I have, and like, you, I'm not going back. Ever.

Still in the 185-189 range depending on the time of day, but I've lost another notch or 2 off my belt.  Hopefully this means I'm adding some muscle and losing some fat.

214.6 this morning up a little from last week.  Had a 15K on Saturday and definitely went overboard after the race but I was just happy that I paced at 7:32/mile.  Back to hitting it hard this week.
