Where is Kim today?

Where oh where have the Ghoulies gone?

You rang?

I was running errands this morning. Then ran 10 in the drizzly cold.

If you have what we have going on - that sure does not sound like fun!

I will take snow over today any day of the week!!!

You and me both, Bill! Although Melindy would probably object.

Well she needs to move out of Canada then

How much show do they get in Iowa?

ironannekidd - 2010-10-05 2:29 PM Kim do you have a long run this weekend?

This is my last long run then taper time. I haven't gotten in the miles I wanted so there really won't be much of a taper.

I'm doing 20 this weekend. Then taper. My last 2 long runs are 12 and 8, although that doesn't seem very long anymore. I've been able to follow my plan pretty closely. Although, it certainly has been easier since I'm not working.

Between illness and injury I haven't been able to follow my plan near as much as I'd have liked. I'm doing 20ish on Friday, then I think 15 and 10. For some reason though I'm looking forward to half marathon training when this is all said and done.

You've done the long runs, though and that's the most critical part of the training. I hear you about dropping back to halfs. My goal for next year is to get faster. I think I may take a break for few months over the winter and swim and strength train. My sports doc has been encouraging me to work on building strength in my legs.

Also, I don't think the vodka you are looking for is sold in the US. I have an old work friend that owns the company that makes DoubleCross Vodka. I'll check with him.

I don't think I can find a bed big enough for you, me, Neal, Robin, and Melindy. Especially if we need enough room on the floor for Robin's husband.

I was supposed to run 7 miles tonight. I did not earn the HTFU points that Kim did. It was 50 and raining by the time I got my daughter home from piano lessons.

Instead of running my son and I ran some errands. I was able to pick up an orange tech t-shirt, I'm planning on trying it out on Friday's run. I picked up 2 new pairs of socks, shocker I know. We got a few other things as well.

The best part of the night was my son and I had a really great talk, it may be the best talk we've ever had. My son is growing into a fine young man, and I am so very proud of him.

I feel bad that I didn't run, but I wouldn't have traded the evening I had for anything. Tomorrow is another day, I will run then.

Ann, this is time far better spent than running.

So very cool about the time you had with your son.  That sort of stuff cannot be replaced or rescheduled.
