Working from home today and hoping to sneak in a trip to the gym.

Many many years ago I managed the mens wear dept at Macys in California (well, one of the stores, not the whole califnornia) and that included the mens shoe dept.  There was one guy who brought in a pair of $300 italian dress shoes that he wanted to return after wearing them for a week.  Said they did not hold up well.  Turned out he wore them at a CONSTRUCTION site.  Hmmmmm, could he not tell he was not at a fancy office or restaurant?  Of course dress shoes are not going to hold up at a construction site. 

Hello Anne, glad to hear that you are on the mend.  Don't know what happened exactly, but knew it had something to do with your race. 

I think the phone company is messing with the daylight savings time changes.  Our Library Help Line phone is set up to automatically come up when the library opens, and to go down when the library closes.  The past several days, the phones rolled to the closed message at 7pm, not 8pm.  And funny thing is, when the time change does come it should go in the other direction.  But the phone company sprung forward in the fall instead of falling back.  LOL

Yeah... my race did not end as I had hoped.

You know the saying - there are 2 ways to end a race, the finish line, or an ambulance ride. My race ended with the ambulance ride.

I kind of got that impression.  As I said before, keep healing and get better.

Watching a show on the assasination of JFK. Oh discovery channel. They are forensically recreating.
