One giant mug of hot choco and 3 pear halves later ...
What happened to the other pear half????????? If you had three pear halves, then some poor pear is missing half of itself.......

Some poor lonely pear is missing its better half. Wink

If you have half a pear..... well, what would you call it?

D001 - 2010-11-05 10:42 AM Hm. I haven't been online all day. You people have posted pages of 'stuff.' I have no idea what you've said. Do I need to back-read it all? Hm. Yanti and Judi are on this team. I may need to back-read. You never know when they're going to do another ABC spelling game.... LOL *Sigh* OK. I'm off to read through all this stuff.

Yep, pretty sure you need to read it all....just in case you missed something interesting! Tongue out
Well, I found lots to reply to, thereby boosting my post count. Not that my post count really needs boosting.

Maybe you can share some of your post count with others thereby boosting their post count.

Uh. No. I worked hard to post all those meaningless "meaningful" posts!

Ohhhh..a knitting goal!  That's a good idea.  I just finished up a pair of socks but have three projects other projects that are in various stages of incompleteness.  Maybe I should aim to finish at least one knit item BEFORE I get distracted and start some other new project.
Can I set a chocolate goal? I'm pretty sure I could make 2,000% on that one.

You're supposed to make your goals challenging. Except a truly challenging chocolate goal might bankrupt a person. Hmmm. That would be a tough goal to set.

So my goal should be to eat enough chocolate to bankrupt me?

Hm.....

Will the updates ever end!!!!

I reloaded windows on a PC and am now downloading all the updates. They just keep going on for ever. I download service pack 3, then a batch of 64 updates, then the explorer updates, now another batch of 36 updates.  And I still have to download the drivers and other misc updates.

Aaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

At least I'm getting some extra BT time.

So there is this empty cubicle in the office that is used when someone is fixing a PC or related equipment. It has a garbage can like most cubicles. I noticed today that it hasn't been emptied for a while so I move it out into the walkway to the cleaning guy will empty it. He just walked right passed it. Do I need to put it out where he will trip over it? How hard is it. Every cubicle has a garbage. Check it and empty it if there is something in it. There's only like 8 cubicles on the whole floor. Its not that hard.

Only ten more updates this time. Shouldn't be long.
The truly sad part is that I won't be able to go home and watch the first season of The IT Crowd before I go to bed. And I won't make it to the pool. I can still do my run though.

Well folks. The updates are finally finished. I'm off to go meet my wife for dinner and then I'm heading home and going for a run. Sadly my wife has to work late. Apparently poor planning on one person's part does constitute an emergency on other's part.
