well. I'm hosting the bookclubs holiday book exchange on Thursday night, so I had to get it done.  I always am glad that I did it once I'm done.  It lifts my spirits.

Just dissected the back of the thigh and knee...woooo...haha.

So did I. When I saw her at first I thought it was a skunk.

Pretty uneventful day for me here.  I worked, I rode my bike, I foam rolled my shin splints, I cried

Hi Gouhls. Ann, you didn't scare me away. I had a major headache, which forced me to rive down to the gas station and get a huge coke. I then used that giant coke to wash down some motrin. After a couple hours I felt much much better. but then the kids took over the afternoon, and well, here I am.  
Now where did you put my margarita?  

Hi guys! Got a run and core in today before the concert! Haven't logged them yet, but I will tomorrow because I'm in bed on my phone right now. Concert was awesome. I love my classmates! they are so talented! Gonna read some Harry Potter before sleep time! (I've decided to re-read...I havent read them in awhile...)

It is COLD COLD COLD here this morning. It was 24 at my house, and we have 20 mph winds. I saw someone out on their bike this morning on my way to work. They get points for the crappy winter weather challenge.

The holiday party last night was ok. I guess maybe budget cuts were made for the party. They had hardly any activities for the kiddos this year, the balloon people were there, so my kids did get balloon things made. In the past they had a lot of kid friendly foods, too. The food choices were very slim this year, and they didn't have as much out. Oh well.

Morning Anne, sorry the party was lacking last night. The economy is sure taking a toll on things. The library found out that our budget is going to be cut by 15%. Bout sure yet what that will mean in the way of cutting hours and staffing levels yet.

It is cold here, too. 22 and High winds. the roads are icy and I have to drive to a staff meeting this morning. YUCK. The roads here don't really get snow on them, we get lots of black ice instead. fun and games.

Hubby downloaded them to his computer.  I'll see what I can do.

Cold here too.  25 degrees.  I've got a cold so I'm staying home today.  No sense in getting all of my staff sick.  Aren't I a nice boss? 

Wow! It's colder there than it is here. We don't have icy roads either. You should come here.

There's an idea. I'll stop by after the meeting. (I really have to go to this one).

Yes you are. Put the Christmas lights on, get some hot beverage and snooze on the couch enjoying all the decorations.

FWIW,  I hear you on the soothing of the spirit of the decorations after they are all up. I love taking the puppy out after dark and looking at the house. The lit tree makes me feel like a kid.
