See now that is fun and exciting! I think so! Friday is going to be absolutely brutal as I'll be out until 2am or so and then have to be on a train by 5am to get to the airport. Ouch! But I figure loads of coffee and 5 hour energy drinks will keep me going... and I can't wait to try flamenco dancing! Wheeee! |

Not knowing the origin of Canadian Thanksgiving, can you explain it to me? Canadian Thanksgiving was born from the intense desire for Canadians to actually fit in on North America. They, socially, are awkward and have no true holidays of their own. Hence, they simply copy the US, but make their holidays earlier as it's so effin cold after October 31st, they must remain indoors untill the groundhog (they actually use a moose for this), says it's OK to come out for the 6 weeks of tolerable weather. |

Not knowing the origin of Canadian Thanksgiving, can you explain it to me? Honestly, no, I can't. I'm pretty sure it has to do with Canada wants to party. Jacques Cartier finding something and whatever, but party is the real reason for it. |

Not knowing the origin of Canadian Thanksgiving, can you explain it to me? This is pretty accurate. Minus the moose. We use an elk. Moose aren't underground animals, man. |

Not knowing the origin of Canadian Thanksgiving, can you explain it to me? ??Wiki has a pretty good description of it - too long to repost here and I'm too lazy to copy the link here. |
