He didn't think they were gross because they were pink. I was eating quinoa w/ cranberry sauce and goat cheese, tho. Looked fairly similar, except for the squirming. EEEEW... Animals get fly-struck (ie maggoted) usually when they have poo stuck to them or an open wound that attracts the flies to deposit their babies. Then its a free-for-all. If nothing is done the animals become quite toxic and die
