skrtrnr - 2009-04-08 8:41 AM MORNING X-MEN!

after my trifecta yesturday, i fully expected to wake up this morning feelin' a bit hammered, but im pleasantly surprised to find that im not.  feeling MOST EXCELLENT in fact.

all that endurance trng is paying off.  steady as i go....

as for today, im off to run some errands this morning [yes, real life beckons] and then ill head to the Y.  w the short week, i have the option of either running 32 or 42 mins [arent the BT trng plan times funny]

id like to get in the 42 that way i wont feel 'bad' about dropping a short run w the modified week.

but im not sure how my legs will actually feel moving [its one thing sitting here at the computer.....]

that aside.

GREAT SESSIONS YESTURDAY MAV.  ENJOY THE GAME TODAY!

ERICA.  GREAT GOING ON YOUR XTENDED LONG RUN.  YOWZA.  AND YOUR SWIM.  I HEAR YA ON THE JUGGLING ACT.  YOUR CREATIVE AND SURE TO FIND A WAY THROUGH.

LORA. WELL HELLO GORGEOUS.  LOVE YOUR NEW PROFILE PIC.

well, im off to run errands.  BLAH.  but at least i get to mail my SPRINT TRI REGISTRATION FORM out today.  that makes the errand-running worthwhile.

HAVE A MOST EXCELLENT DAY TODAY X-MEN!

Ha ha.  Thank you!

mav - 2009-04-08 8:13 AM My brother is flying in from Ohio with his GF and my sis and BIL are coming from CT. I will be in the city by 5pm hoping to catch dinner before the game. I will be in the blechers with the rest of the rowdies not far from the Dunkin Donuts sign!
GO RED SOX!!!!!!!
But first I must do a long run with a little bike. My shoulder is bugging me after my ridiculously long swim yesterday.

Anyone else doing a BT HIM plan??? The swimming seems to be a bit  over the top for an actual race swim of 2100. Anyone have any thoughts about this...and if so ...what are you doing?

You know I'm right there with you mav.  These plans suck for swimming.  My only consolation is that in another few weeks, it backs off a little.  Still, I haven't been doing all the swim workouts.  I miss about one a week and I don't care!

Starting my plan in one month, but I'll consider this a head's up.  Thanks, guys!

For my non familiar teammates, I am ALWAYS (once a month at least) in my son Cole's classroom with some creative baked good.  Most of them are in my albums if you care to look.  I think I am off the hook for this month.  May brings teacher appreciation week in which I am planning on making flower sugar cookies on a stick and arranging them in a styrofoam block placed inside a terra cotta flower pot.  Should be cute, no?

ERICA. your da bomb.

that cookie flower arrangement is gonna be SO stinkin' honkin' cute.

and i remembered your propensity to say YES, so....i knew you'd come through.

dh, thankfully saved the day.  not sure what that craving was all about (maybe PMS, dunno know)  i HAD to, HAD to, HAD to have brownies.

fortunately a tiny one from Boston Market (pretty darn good actually) satisfied.   that, and tiny scoop of icecream.

a little goes a long way.

oh yum.

GOOD MORNING X-MEN.

WHATS YOUR MISSION FOR TODAY?

CRAZY BUSY for me.....

going to my kids class this morning to help out w Writers Workshop, whatever the heck that is.  and then im staying to hang out with him at lunch.  good times.

then im meeting w my sister in law for lunch (cuz who really wants to eat school cafeteria food)  most times i go by myself, so itll be nice to have company.  then were going to a few stores to buy easter crap candy and novelties to fill up our eggs for the easter egg hunt we do for all the kids in our family.

THEN (WOOSH) im going to workout.

seems strange to workout later in the day, when im used to going in the morning but....

gonna swim 49 mins w my 2 hr endurance spin instructor extraordinaire.  she's gonna WOOP my arse something fierce.  then if that wasnt punishment enough, im gonna let her beat me up some more in spin for 73 mins. what can i say, im a glutton for...

then im going to the Runners Clinic - REALLY hoping to get an alternative treatment for my foot.  needles and surgery skeeeer me.

dh is coming home early to get the kids off the bus.

brownies, coming home early so i can go workout.  im luckiest girl in the world, doncha think?

HOW BOUT YOU ALL WHACHA UP TO?

MAKE IT GOOD ONE EVERYONE......

Quite a busy day, Stacie!

I've got a busy day, too.  I have to write a few letters for a client, put together the weekly news sheet for my church's Upward Basketball program for Saturday's games, walk the pups, run 2 miles and instead of swimming, I'm going to use my superpower and go for a bike when it warms up.

I'll do the bike before the run, though, to make it a brick.  Got a Sprint next Sunday.

I am swimming this morning and biking this afternoon with the SECT BT peeps.  I think it's a pretty short ride but I am good with that.  My plan only calls for an hour so I'll be good to go!  Then, I'm headed into the school to take some pictures for a project I'm working on for Teacher appreciation week.  Tonight is church since it is Holy Thursday.  Good times!

Sorry 'bout your Sox!  I'm from West Virginina and when the Mountaineers lose, especially in football, the ENTIRE state gets depressed.

Have a great bike ride.  Seems like a lot of us are biking today.
