I make my lists starting from the prerace clothing, then prerace gear (pump, food, zip ties, etc), then swim, T1, bike, T2, run, then post race clothing and nutrition. I volunteer to Swim Buddy at my local races and have been doing that for the past 3 or 4 years. I haven't done a sprint race in over 4 years and had mentioned to the race director that I might do one this year. He gave me a comped entry. I was just going to do it for fun, but now I am a little nervous about the race. My last few transition times have been longer than this whole race will take me but I haven't set up on a rack in years. And I haven't had to transition quickly in a while, so I will be like a first timer out there, I'm sure. It should be fun though |
