Ghoulies October: us v BT (Page 15)

Hi all. Got a 8k run and swim in today. Feeling a bit better. I made some quinoa and peaches for bfast, some rice, chicken and veggies for lunch. I also made some caramel popcorn with almonds and pecans. Because I am a prostar chef.

PS: I am a prostar chef and am also going to be a doctor...where are all the men? honestly...come on...just saying.

Well its bedtime.

Also. It is windy in Edmonton too. I've never been to Iowa so I can not attest to the wind in Iowa. Maybe you should come up here Neal and check out the wind? Just saying.

Good morning Ghoulies!

It was raining again this morning. I can't remember the last time I drove to work when it wasn't raining. It isn't supposed to rain all day which is good. I have to run tonight whether it rains or not.

The kids have soccer practice, I'm going to head out as soon as the husband gets home. I will meet them at the soccer field, that will give me 8 miles tonight, and I should be done before it gets dark. If I went with them to soccer than ran home I'd be running in the dark. I know that time is coming, but I'm not ready for it yet.

I saw that, too. I'm not concerned, I have a feeling they went out too fast and will slow down toward the end of the race, they aren't conditioned for it. We, on the other hand, are just getting warmed up before we hit our stride. We will win both challenges in the end, we are GHOULIES after all.

Confession:  I haven't ridden my bike since the IM.  I did finally take my race wheels off and put my regular ones back on last night.  The intent is to get out a couple times in the next few days.  Mid 70s and sunny through the weekend.
