Regimom!!  Sorry about your car.  WFT? 15 miles away??  That's more than a couple blocks.

Ryan- I must now have PB&J for lunch.  I think I like peanut butter more than sex.

Oh...and morning ya'll!

Disclaimer: I really don't speak that way, I just couldn't resist. If you are offended, I don't give a $hit. Have your people call my people.

You kiss your mother with that mouth?

Uh, I mean:

You kiss your mother with those fingers? Hmmmm, doesn't work as well.

Why does this day suck so much?

The soybean market keeps bouncing back and forth and NOW the USDA report from earlier this month isn't congruent with, get this, itself. On page 15 it says one thing for domestic use and on page 28 it says something else. We're short-staffed because one guy is on vacation and the other guy is on perpetual vacation.

And if that wasn't bad enough, my uncle (practically my father) found out he has inoperable pancreatic cancer, though they're going to try some things, but he said he'd be lucky to live another year. And my mother got rushed to the hospital yesterday because of something, yet the doctors are baffled, so she has to stay there another night at least.

Thanks. Life's a bi*ch. Glad I'm not old. I don't ever want to get old. Because you're always in pain and having all kinds of diseases and health problems and whatnot. I'm going to off myself if I'm not already dead by the age of 60.

Don't kick growing old. It's better than dying young! I have cancer, and I sure want to make it to old age!

Yeah ... sorry about that. I just get jaded sometimes when i hear crap like this. Hope YOU are OK. And thanks for the words guys. I'm not the emotional type so no worries, but still, when it all gets dumped on you in about a two-day span it kinda sucks.

Anyway, back to the nothingness. I'm hungry.

lvthgme - 2007-10-24 12:52 PM Found it.  Just last night as I was swearing a blue streak I thought maybe I should cuss less.  I dunno what I think though really.

I'm the same way. Sometimes it sounds tacky and it really bothers me when people overdo it. I used to say "Profanity is the language of the powerless people." Which is what the OP in that thread is getting at.

I've found though, people react to it when used at certain times. When I'm mad I let some rip. Sometimes I regret it, sometimes not.

If you're talking to someone from New Jersey... they don't understand you if you don't add a swear word to every sentence.

In general, I try to not use them as much as possible.

I guess the issue I have here is where do you draw the line?  Are we using it in a derrogatory manner?  Is it being used to place emphasis?  Is that just the way some people speak?

So then you don't use the actual word but add characters to it.  Then you just use anacronyms... then what.  We all hang out in a 'G' rated forum?
