Gun Advocates, What Say You?? (Page 16)

Until our court system sees fit to enforce the gun laws already on the books, I could never be in favor of new gun laws.

I could absolutely be behind new sentencing guidelines for people who commit violent gun crimes......but that can't even effectively be talked about, much less implemented, until the laws are enforced properly through the courts.

Maybe you missed this post from tech_geezer on the first page?

I'm not sure who you are responding to but if it's me, I must say, that's quite the filter you have. 

You can firmly put me down for a NO when it comes to more gun control/laws.  I said it in the second post on this thread and I'll say it again now. ....

Arm everyone!!......if the law can't handle it then let the law abiding people kill these idiots who use guns to commit crimes.

A minor point and I would guess it was probably your intent. Arm everyone who wants to be and can be legally. 

You know how some anti gun folks will try to make a big deal out of the smallest thing.

Yes, of course that was my intent....thanks, because you are right about the anti's making an issue of it. 

I'll go one further, just to illustrate how completely stupid taking guns from  law-abiding people is......  Give every one of them a nuclear bomb to keep in their basement.  You will have no worries.....they'd never use it to hurt anyone. (who wasn't trying to hurt them or their family)  On the other hand, you can't give a common stick to a criminal, because he will find a way to hurt someone with it, or take something that isn't his.   It's criminals who need to be regulated, not weapons.....it's such a simple concept and so lost on anti-gun people.

Nope, I'll never give up a single gun I own or take one from a law-abiding American.
