Pam, will you come and set mine up for me? I was just excited to use it on the race and look at all the cool graphs. It helps to have a hubby who owns a Garmin Edge cycling computer But boy, that thing is cool! I have all the minutes I spent in my HR zones, cool satellite maps of my run course. Fabulous! I set it up where I see four data fields at once. I can watch my time, HR, distance and HR zone. I didn't choose pace because I thought that would psych me out at this point. Now my coach can see that I am trying really hard to stay in the proper zones! I did my wralk. 40 minutes with only two 1 minute walk breaks. Total of 3.69 miles. All PAIN-FREE. Yippeee!!!!!! AWESOME!!!!! |

Master 3479 Utah | Subject: RE: Nibbs XII Hi nibs! Beth, congratulations! Sounds like you've made a good decision. I've been a busy chickadee today. My DH is going out of town tomorrow morning, so I spent the day running around with him. Costco, out to dinner, J's Jr Jazz bball game, running K around to scouts, and so forth. I even did some laundry. *gasp* I'm waiting for the dryer to finish now. I had some yummy wine and cheese last night. I went to a local Mommy club "wine down from the holidays" event. I didn't stay too late--I was home around 1 am this year ( opposed to 3 am last year), but I'll tell you what--turn 35 plus moms loose (without kids) around a buffet o crackers, cheese chocolate fondue, bread, fruit, and sweets, give em each a bottle of wine ( and a few shots) and things get, well, interesting. I think I'm one of the few without a hangover today. Edited by givemashot 2008-01-13 12:53 AM |
