TinkerBeth 23096 Liverpool, New York | Subject: RE: Nibbs XIII givemashot - 2008-01-22 4:33 PM So does running the snowblower through 10 inches of snow count as training? It got my heart rate up... That was yesterday. Had to scrape the ice off DH's side of the driveway with the shovel after I went over it with the blower. I was a bad wife and didn't shovel his half of the driveway, or where he parks, last week when he was out of town. Today I had a good wralk and a little time on the stationary bike. I think this cold is starting to go away--now if I could keep the heart rate below 120 when I go upstairs from the basement, LOL. I think it counts!!!! |

Master 3479 Utah | Subject: RE: Nibbs XIII SO my DH said he wants to tri with me. This was just before he drifted off to sleep night before last. Should I hold him to it? And how do I gingerly tell him he's got a lot of stabilization work to do before he tackles any challenge so he doesn't blow another disc in his back? |

And go from there? Is he seeing a doc about his back.... there is always the sugestions that you are suppose to get medical clearance before attempting any new sport so could you use that as a way of getting someone else to tell him? |

Champion 23360 Taser-World | Subject: RE: Nibbs XIII kns57 - 2008-01-22 3:26 PM Sal - I may be a grandma, but I still have a good memory. A pic of you in a bathing suit in snow would more than make up for the one in the kilt and red hair. LOL Dee - Was shopping yesterday for dinner and the store here had a whole section of YODELS. So much better than LD. I resisted. Scott - so glad that BT is not blocked for you. Pam - glad to hear no freezing rain. Beth - I see you aren't counting down the days. LOL Kristen - the grandparents need a nap. The grandsons are wearing us down. Need a workout? Play with kids. LOL Yodels rock! But LD is cheaper. Think of all the extra boxes of LD that you can buy. Quantity is a good thing. MORE SUGAR! I NEED MORE SUGAR! Heh, I just ate cookies. Can you tell. Keebler rocks even more than Yodels. |

I did pain-free strides on the dreadmill today. Today is so much better than yesterday. I need a nap, but I'm not a grandma or grandpa Pam --> YAY FOR PAIN-FREE RUNNING! Glad to hear you were able to do that! |

I guess goals for the future and how Im going to get there... the thing is Im having trouble coming up with exactly what I need beyond some facilitation and mre presentation training... Goals/training that will enhance my role/professional development: 1) HTML class - This will allow me to create new and innovative BT blog entries. 2) Speed typing class - This will allow me to keep up with conversations in BT chat. 3) EXCEL Spreadsheet training - This will allow me to create and update spreadsheets for BT challenges. 4) Google tutorial - This will allow me to put those sophisticated EXCEL spreadsheets on Google, for all BT challenges. Oh wait.... You meant that OTHER job, huh? Nevermind. |
