Intro: Hi, my name is Slugger, and I'm a running addict. Well, actually my name isn't Slugger, but it is my favoritist nickname ever (see the nickname thread on CoJ for the story), and I'm not a running addict yet, but I'm working on becoming one. I'm 29, blissfully single with no kids (the munchkins are borrowed form the best friend), living in a gorgeous Frank Lloyd Wright-influenced apartment on the side of a mountain on the border of NH and VT. I strained tendons in both feet/lower legs which is taking far too long to heal, but I'm hoping to ease very slowly back into running throughout September. Fall is far and away my favorite time of year, so I'm all super excited for Sept and Oct. Besides, I'll definitely slack off on my training and needs lots of whippin', tasin', and proddin', making this Sept. better than ever! I prefer fall's auburns, golds, and oranges to spring's pinks, purples, and other cheery shite, but Mila's tiara still scares me. Heh I am a fan'o'fall, too. It's actually the only time I miss living further north. The fall colors are pretty here but can't compare to the change in the northeast. I used to be an avid backpacker but did most of my crazy backcountry stuff with friends out west. My favorite trip ever was heading to the bottom of the Grand Canyon via trails that haven't been maintained since the 1920s which made for some interesting scrambles and whatnot. It was my first serious backpacking trip. We were supposed to be vacationing on a houseboat on Lake Powell. Talk about your bait and switch...

Just remember the pic can't be more than 100k. Once I find the pic, I save it to my computer. Then go to the Control Panel at the top left of your BT page. Scroll down the page and you will see "upload profile image" Browse and find the image that you want. Hit "GO" and then if your image if a good size you will be in good shape. You may have to hit the refresh on your page to make sure you can see your avatar. If you have any problem, ask Dee cause she is a pro at changing her avatar. |

Nothing good. I'm eating the kids Goldfish crackers. How sad is that? I finished those and went on to their ice pops. I don't even really like those. Grrr. Okay, got a grip and am now drinking water. I will be good. Still looking for a new avatar. I googled whips and the images that came up weren't exactly appropriate! |
