QueenZipp - 2008-10-19 6:37 PM Have I missed anything. Other than a gorgeous picture of Washington State?

You missed some knitting accomplishments.

something I can't do but am in awe of Jen for knitting socks!

The best I have managed is a couple of scarves

knit-knit-knit-knit

maybe an occasional purl thrown in for good measure.

Ha, I knitted a strap for my bassoon (to wrap around my leg and help hold it up). I somehow had figured out how to wrap the yarn for the purl on a bunch of rows but no one could explain it to me that was the difference between wrapping the yarn one way over the needle or the other.  Now I just look at knit things.  I can crochet some, not much and not well.

A couple more pics from my trip. This was left by a nighttime visitor-a little fox.

There is more than eight feet of snow-I want to see how the area I camped in looks w/out the snow.

I am hungry again.

And I have no clue what to eat.

My old standby-Ice cream...but not anymore.

I love ice cream... but I seem to go off it in winter and come back to it in the spring...

An one of the little buggers who wouldn't give us any peace. They would land on our tent as the sun came up and squawk at us. It would have been nice to sleep in a little after snowshoeing/backpacking up a decent chunk of the mountain.

I ended up taking the snow saw to the 'igloo' and building a wall around the tent, which really helped with warmth for the second night.  That, and sharing some pizza and a space blanket with a buddy.

It was pretty hilarious actually.  I dunno... one of my friend who happens to be a BT'er changed her avatar to a muppet... I don't even remember which one... and it made me happy.  A few other local BT'ers followed suit and suddenly, I had a friends list full of muppets!!!  It made me so happy .  It's the little things in life!

That was a cool avatar change around here.  I liked that a lot better than the old yearbook pictures people posted for a bit.  Those throwback 60's-70's pictures were scary (maybe cause I remember those styles?)
