It was a slower pace than what I normally run but it felt good to not kill myself for once! We have an 8 mile booked for next Saturday!! Football isn't QUITE over for me just yet...we have tix to the Pro Bowl next Sunday!  Wish I could go to the Pro Bowl. Wish I lived in Hawaii. But hey, it is 45F today. Feeling better today. Went to the Y to do my run and all the treadmills were taken. I couldn't believe how busy it was. Were they trying to work off their SuperBowl eatings or actually starting their resolutions? Anyway, there was an elliptical available so I took that instead. After finishing that I went across town to the pool (which was not busy at all) and did a 1.2k continuous swim. My neck is a little stiff now but overall it was good. Glad I did it. Also glad that this cold wasn't as bad as the last one. Here's a question for you. How do you entertain your brain while swimming? I usually start the swim thinking "what the heck am I doing?" type things. Sometimes I think about technique, or list out what else I need to do that day (but then forget the list later on). There's not much scenery at the bottom of the pool. Just curious.
