i vividly remember mine stuffing me in a box and stick a knife through the sides of it (like Jason from Friday the 13th)

we talked about the 'incident' at our family christmas party last year.

he still thinks its hilarious.

but....yes, we too get a long MUCH better now....that im too big to stuff in box, that and NOW i can kick the sh^t out of him  if he even attempted, the big bellied mid-lifer that he is....and the uber fit triathlete that i am.

well.  now.  im not nearly as excited about my 25 degree run.

LOL.

but i did manage to get in a 4 miler today.  i now its short.  but give me a break its a taper week....my long run, 6 miles is schedule for Wednesday.

it looks like a totally CRAPTASTIC DAY - rain, cold, wind - just how i want em.  NICE AND CRAPTASTIC.

my HTFU reward was a tanning session at the local tanning salon.

i always get there 19.95 unlimited tanning sessions for 30 days special right before my husband company christmas party.

so thats an early christmas present!

and manohman did it feel good after that chilly run.

Oh geez.  Reminds me of the time my brother got a hold of the electric hedge trimmers and told me to touch the moving blade because it wasn't sharp.  Yeah, I was gullible.

My brother was so upset the first time I was finally able to kick his a$$.  I've got some good pictures of him getting whooped up on during a little brawl we had in our living room last year.

Gee, I got off light. My big bro just held me by my feet and hit  my head into the floor! No knives or hedge clippers.
He can still pound if he could catch me, good thing I am quicker!

I've decided I need a HTFU present for myself....I'm having some motivational issues sitting in this warm classroom...going to go running at lunch because I have a semi-formal tonight and not going swimming...

I actually ended up making French Toast with strawberries and blackberries on the side, and it was AWESOME!

Well, despite his assurances I was still pretty hesitant to touch it so it only sliced the tip of my finger pretty good.  I still have a small scar.

Have I ever mentioned I hate Mondays? My 23 mile commute this morning took TWO HOURS. Now, I have to turn right back around to get home in time to get my wife to her doctor. The fun part about that is that this doctor isn't even in the same AREA CODE as us. Argh. This afternoon will be a really good ST session I think...

hmmm....I don't even think I asked for anything for xmas...hmmm...this is something to think about...what do i want that I wouldn't ask for...dilemma dilemma...

as for the knife.

why yes a real knife.

though he claims it was 'just' a butter knife.

it was SO something A LOT sharper than JUST a butter knife.

 i was the one IN the box, not him.

i think i would know.
