My cousins kid announced he was engaged on Facebook BEFORE telling any of the family. BOTH families are pissed. Dear me, PLEASE let my kids have better sense!!! That's not the first time I've heard of that happening. Maybe you should go out and do some grocery shopping so we have food to eat after the ride on Sunday. Hey everyone - What should Robin put on her grocery list for after the ride? Oreos - double stuff please Chocolate milk Some sort of meat to throw on the grill Alcohol What else? I'll bring a healthy pasta salad and some chips/dip. Maybe tortillas and queso. That goes well with...........yes, you guessed it.....MARGARITAS. |

Elite 3144 | Subject: RE: Ghoulie March (STILL BIKING) Madness!!! ceilidh - 2010-03-26 6:43 AM I just got pressured (sort of) into being part of a wellness challenge in the "office". We are doing a virtual walk to San Diego. I signed up because I know of a place to stay there! Tom, I'll be there by the end of April. In the mean time, send that mango mater recipe! See you next month then! And before I forget, here's the "recipe." -1 Mango, diced/chopped into approx 1cm sized pieces. You can go finer too if you prefer. -1 Peach, same deal as above -1/4 red onion, finely chopped -1/4 white onion, finely chopped -Cilantro leaves, finely chopped. Amount depends on your taste buds, but I usually do fine with a little less than a 1/4 of a bunch. You don't need a whole lot. -1/2 Serrano pepper and 1/2 Jalapeno pepper. Again, this depends on your taste buds. If you want it mild, then take half of each pepper, remove the seeds, and chop them fine. If you like a kick, then keep the seeds, use more pepper, etc. It also seems to help a bit if you throw them in a frying pan for a few minutes after you've chopped them. -1 Lime. After you've mixed everything above, take the lime, chop it in half, and squeeze the juice into the salsa. Mix well and you're good to go. I prefer to let it sit in the fridge for a few hours and work up it's mojo. Enjoy! You can easily double the amount above if you're feeding several people. It's good as a dip and great as a garnish. I prefer chicken or fish Edited by iowagander 2010-03-26 10:16 AM |

Can I ride there? - LOL I've seen the virtual trackers. I've thought of setting one up. Of course I'd rather go to SD and meet Tom in person. I'm pretty sure I've promised him beer and wings sometime. If I go out to Phoenix next January I am making the drive to see him. Anyone want to run a full or half marathon next January in Phoenix with me? That sounds FUN. It will depend on finances, though. Put me on the definite maybe list. I may do it as well. That could be a lot of fun! |
