Chaderbox - 2010-06-20 5:34 PM Ok, now that I blew a whole week off being sick, I should hopefully be able to double up on enough sessions to catch up.

They allow adjustments to you goals for sickness/injury. Don't overdo it trying to make up for a missed week, you don't want an injury.

Yes, I'm aware of that.  I'm not too worried of injuring myself just by hitting ~18 workouts in 10 days.  Shouldn't be too bad really.

Yeah. The tasering would be worse than the 18 workouts.

pdbman - 2010-06-21 1:46 PM Hey everyone. Let's see if we can get the spreadsheet updated so we can get an accurate idea of where we are in this challenge when they post the weekly update. We have ten days left including today.
"They" would be "me." I was a little late with the weekly update, but it's done now. Then again, "WE" aren't winning. Therefore, someone needs tasering. And it's not "me." Let's see. Whom shall we taser tonight?

By gum, I'll take one for the team.  I'm going to struggle to make my run goal so I guess I need it.  My other three goals I should make without much problem, but I am going to have trouble making the run.  too busy with "life" I guess.  Or lazy.

Looks like my race this weekend is going to be a no-wetsuit race.  I'm freaking out a little because I've never done a race (or an OWS for that matter) with out my security blanket wetsuit.  And also, a warm Schuylkill River means a smelly and kinda gross Schuylkill River.

No worries man...  You can do it in your sleep!  And as early as the race is, you might have too...

I have a 9 year old daughter...  She pulled that with a friend last spring on Friday afternoon...  They had it all planned out and dropped it on us at like 7:00pm after a movie party...  She got away with it that one time

(jumping up and down) Oh!  Oh!  Taser Me! Taser me!
Seriously, I could use the motivation. I haven't been out since my race last weekend and can't get the motivation to get out. I think sleep might be part of the issue. Its been crazy busy and we haven't been able to get to bed at a decent time so we've been getting up later and still feel exhausted when we get up. Its a good think I have a short commute up the stairs to my computer for work or I would really be in trouble. I'm going to try to take a lunch break and head to the pool for a swim today and my legs could really use a run to loosen up after the race.

TRIPLE workout day in the books... WOOP WOOP WOOP!  45 min trainer ride followed by a 30 min brick treadmill run followed by a 15 min recovery swim.  I'm taking the day off work to hang with the wife and kids.  Nice to have everything done for the day by 10:30am!  It's supposed to be a scorcher today... 97 degrees and high humidity.  I don't imagine we'll get out the pool much.  Have an awesome day everyone!

Oh, and Dee... you can holster that zapper!  I updated the spreadsheet.  I'm right on pace with my swimming, a little ahead in biking and a little behind in running.  I will definitely make goal since I have a race on Sunday and a few workouts planned before and after that.

I SWAM TONIGHT!

Oh wait. I don't have a swim goal this month. Hm....

Oh well. I SWAM TONIGHT!

Of course, I was scheduled to do a wog. Which DOES count for the challenge this month. Hm. Well. There's always tomorrow.

Did I mention that I SWAM TONIGHT? Hm, yes. I think I did.

I think I'm allergic to chlorine. My nose is all stuffed up now.

Of course, they'd just finished the kids' swim lessons. Maybe it's not chlorine that's bother my nose, but "other stuff."

I wonder about the same thing... after each and every swim at the Y pool, my nose is running and stuffed up for several hours.  Frown

Way to go on the swim, Dee!!!!!
