I also feel really good about how crazy (in a good way) my kids think I am ;-)

I bet they are really proud of their mother.

{blush}

yeah, I think they are, actually I know they are

pretty sure your kids are proud of you as well!

how many kids do you have?

I have 3 - 18, 17, 12

boy, girl, boy

Beth (from the pictures I've seen of you), you don't look old enough to have an 18-yr-old...

edit:  What is up with these quote markers?  Doesn't seem to be indenting the quotes tonight...arrgghh...

LOL - I hate it when that happens

and

thank you - you know, I dont' really feel old enough, but I am ;-)

Trip was good, thanks for asking - no down time at all

the short version is

I left Omaha at 5:50 am, flew to Philly for 5 hrs of meetings and flew back to Omaha, arriving at midnight

very good day though

kind of bizarre - I feel like I was in a time warp of sorts

How was your trip?  Any free time?

Judi!  hello

I got my hair cut today, and I'm feeling fabulous

so glad for you.  It alsways take a week or so for me to get the hair the way I want when it's cut.  I get a couple decent weeks out of it then it's too long again--yeh, my hairderesser gets me about every 5 weeks between the cuts and the color...

Hi Dee!

hey, what happened to the pool?

I lost my pool. For some reason, I couldn't upload a new avatar.

PLUS, I'm not seeing ANYONE's avatars right now.

My ISP is a PITA.

Speaking of color.... my hair is turning orange.

Do you think they use enough chlorine in the pool?

(The odor is enough to knock you out when you walk through the door.)

barqhead - 2007-11-17 9:16 AM Good morning, Nibbins! Hubby is out for a 60 mile bike. I'm gonna take the kiddos out for birthday present shopping then to a birthday party. My brother arrives tonight! Yay. Somehow I don't think I'm gonna get any workouts done this weekend. Advice, people, please. I don't know if anyone's dealt with tendonitis. I know we have a lot of PF on this team. But I am in a conundrum after my chiro visit. Normally, this is my time of year for lots of running and strength training. I know running is out for at least two more weeks. And my chiro strongly advised me NOT to lift or do any intense ab work. Should I switch to swimming and biking? I crave structure and schedules. Thoughts, anyone?

I also like the structure and schedules, I think swimming would be the most gentle for your body, with biking second

tendonitis can be nasty to deal with - icing is important to reduce the inflamation, take advil or something similar to also help with the inflammation

gentle stretching and massage are also good

Ugh Im off to the shops... thanks for everyones help... I need shoes, jewellery... and will probably still be deciding what to wear right up until Wednesday... if there are any more revelations or ideas please let me know!

Have a great night!

Cat, I missed you!

I see you posted pics, haven't had a chance to take a good look - seems like you got some good input, I'll put my 2 cents in later - you will look Mahvalous no matter which one you pick!

2 cents is what I was looking for! After a blah tie shopping I came home with a new pair of shoes and a hair cut (trim, same style) thats it ...

Still not 100% sure on what Im wearing... almost bought a pair of long evening gloves...

Do you wet your hair before you swim... that will stop your hair from absorbing so much of the yucky pool water as it has already bsorbed shower water....
