Did anyone else put off doing their fall yard work too long? UGH. I have never had a yard with this many trees in it before and it kind of sucks. Living near the woods definitely has a bad side.

Hey wait, I live in the woods and that's exactly the point. I wait for the wind to blow the leaves BACK into the woods! And gutters...what are those? Hmmm, fancy name for "leaf trap" or "automatic frustration device" perhaps.

Yeah that is what we were thinking initially. But they are seriously overwhelming! The garden is full, the driveway is piled high, they are getting tracked into the house..ugh! I grew up in Kansas where trees are almost non-existent, so drifts of dead leaves is a totally new experience for me.

Hmmm, may I suggest a nuclear leaf blower and the use of it around 3 AM to show your neighbor just what you think of them. Then again, if you have good neighbors, you can do like the knucklehead that lives up the street from me, he puts them all into the street. For what reason I'm not sure, perhaps he thinks that cars somehow asimilate them as they drive by?

I thought it was decided that she was going to stick with the 36-DD accessories? Anything else is just so frivolous!

Exhibit B broke his finger at basketball practice.  I'm sure our pediatric orthopedist will be happy to see us.  We haven't been there since June.  Exhibit C had a crush injury to his foot in March and we were pretty much fixtures in the orth's office for four months.  It'll be like old home week... not...

LOL! I am trying to talk my husband into letting me get a mulching leaf vacuum thing. Of course, one can only use so much mulch. Maybe we could sell the leftovers and make some money?

There has to be a variety of uses for mulched leaves!

1.  Filler for pillows and comforters
2.  Instead of "down vests", how about "leaf vests"?
3.  Chopped up and added to bread dough.  "Maple Leaf Bread"!
4.  Packaging material, instead of styrofoam peanuts and bubble wrap

Come on gang, there has to be more!
