My wife tells me all the time I act like a child!  Smile

I do have an awesome wife.  She has a surprise for me when I get home tonight.  All she would tell me is that we have a babysitter and be home before 5pm.  I am hoping for a custom bike fitting!

OK this sucks. I am sitting here on my day off. It's a beautiful outside, 72 and sunny (Sat & Sun there gonna be rain and a high of 60), my bike is geared up and ready to go and I've been sitting here for 4 hours waiting on the freaken repair guy to come fix my fridge.

OK Gripping over, carry on...

OK John...you know you are a triathlete when you wish for a bike fitting...vs...perhaps a night out with your wife and no kids!!!!!

Small confession...I too have a great spouse...he bought me a diamond necklace for my 50th B day and all I could think was...I could have a new tri bike:/.

Mav - LOL!!!

Swam with master class, great swim but kicked my tail.  I keep making these swims and I will be MOP/FOP swimmer yet!  Got 4 mile run in tonight.  Been watching the LSU/Texas A&M game.  So far the Tigers are doing great.

Tomorrow is a long ride in the morning but knee is acting up a little so will play it as it comes tomorrow.

Diane - you out there?

Diamonds vs bike,  hmmmmm.........We need help.

It wasn't a custom bike fit but she did take me to our first Hot Yoga class.  75 mins and it kicked my butt.  I was sweating just walking into the room.  It was 17 degree outside and snowing so I was all bundled up and going into that room was like a sauna.  Just seeing her all sweating after class was worth the experience!  Laughing.  I recommend a hot yoga class.  I have been doing regular yoga at home but having an instructor come over and force you to get into certain positions really helps.  An all around awesome experience.

Good morning everyone.

Friday was a lost day. I waited around for the service guy all day and they finally called at about 4:30 and said they weren't gonna make it out. Whatever.

I did have a pretty good bike ride this morning. It was a little chilly, about 48, when we started but it warmed up to 60 or so pretty quick. I have no cold weather gear at all so i borrowed a under shirt from a buddy of mine and grabbed a pair of motorcycle gloves. I did OK with that.

I am at 1600 meters swim, 15.5 miles of running with another run tomorrow, and a bit behind right now at 49 bike miles.  I travelled a lot this week - bike was tough.

Mark, this is this first time we have done a double challenge. Thanks MAV. We typically do some fun stuff early while people are getting their years started. A 1 or a 1.5 rookie IM challenge is awesome. These are for fun. Don't overdo it. Don't ramp duration or distance too soon.
