Hope so, too. I was thinking about her when I was riding and then I remembered the time difference. She should be done by now. Hi Jen! sounds like you were smarter than I was about the time you went for your ride Yeah...7 am was really early, but I'm glad we went then. Plus I got to take a nap, so it wasn't so bad. |

And they had 3 courts for us to use, so that we could get done fairly early today. The heat was/is awful right now. Can't imagine running in it, unless it was at like 5 or 6 in the morning. |

(Although with the airports these days, it *may* be better.) It's a longgggggg drive. Especially when you get into Jen's and Judi's state. (VA: the state that never ends.) Sure! Request another orange rental car. At least you won't worry about losing it in the parking lot. |

Elite 4148 Utah | Subject: RE: Nibbs XIX Well, my race wasn't totally rained out... through a series of unfortunate events, however... I was...OUT that is... Wasn't feeling well yesterday... still not feeling well today... think I've ended up with stomach flu complete with achy neck and spine.... After ending up dehydrated this morning I tried to recover... combine this with the 50 degree temps and rain this morning (that I was not prepared for) and that put me out.... They canceled the bike and shortened the swim to 500 m. I also thought that I'd like my first tri to actually be a tri and not du. My wetsuit did great though (8 or 9 min time)... coworker showed up with slvless shortie and water temp was 48 degrees... I let her use my wetsuit... I AM signing up for race next Sat... it's perfect...just down the road from where I live early morning start (hubby's on call) and is within the organization I work (county parks and rec) Now we'll see if I can get dinner down and feelin' better for church tomorrow... all I wanta do is sleep.... |
