"runners trots" herczeg
http://www.himalayaninstitute.org/Netipot/NetiPotGateway.aspx I thought it was some weird new age gimmick...my allergies have decreased significantly since starting on it (January)... Yeah, it looks disgusting, but not anymore disgusting than discussing runner's trots... i hear great things about neti pot but i don't think it will do a thing for me. my problem is not allergies. it's asthma. REAL asthma, not just a random diagnonsense to get me out of the office. i wake up at night unable to breathe. ragweed is just a trigger. |

Have had Asthma to my whole life also use to be really bad growing up but last 10 -12 years have finally had very few if any problems. Still carry my inhaler which I usually take before strenuous excercise and then take advair daily which is one of the major things I thinked help me get over it. The other was moving to Florida and not having the cold weather or season changes, always seemed to act up in the winter, know what you mean about the cold air would never have been able to run in cold temps. Master 1292 McKinney, TX | Subject: RE: Headless Horsemen Team Thread We just got our first cool snap this morning. Down into the low 40s. Should make Saturday's run extra fast. My HR always takes a few days of adjusting when the weather changes. So I expect it will stay fairly low, allowing me to run faster. Should pass my goal tomorrow at lunchtime or Saturday morning. |

Mike i lived in florida for 2 years and never even took any meds or anything. it practically disappeared. when i moved to va in 2006 all of a sudden i was that nerdy girl sucking on an inhaler 2 or 3 times a day all over again. hate it. |

Expert 2555 Colorado Springs, Colorado | Subject: RE: Headless Horsemen Team Thread I managed a bit over 9 miles today. It wasn't quite so cold, but the wind was just as bad. My route today had me going 3 miles uphill into a freaking headwind. That really slowed me down. After I turned, the crosswind was blowing me sideways for the next few miles. I will make my goal on my run tomorrow. With a bit of luck and some decent weather I may make it to 300 miles by the end of the month. |

Master 1356 | Subject: RE: Headless Horsemen Team Thread Hey horsies! I wore a ace bandage much of yesterday (after teh failed morning run) and today and my quad feels much better. Additionally my refrigerator is working again ($100 problem/solution). A better day all around So I might try a jog tonight again. maybe with the bandage. Anyway, between a little less pain and a working fridge, my mental place is much better!

Yeah, the challenge might allow it, but *I* don't! I have 65 minutes left to meet my commitment - I should be able to do that unless my quad really worsens.... then I Edited by movingsouth 2008-10-23 6:59 PM |

Now, we horsies can read - seems that was also about the time you started snogging some boy, eh? He's only worth snogging if he's supportive of you training! Sorry the asthma is also acting up. As for your comment about being the inhaler toting nerd -- I was always jealous of them as a kid -- I thought it seemd cool to suck on the widget. weird, I know |

Expert 2555 Colorado Springs, Colorado | Subject: RE: Headless Horsemen Team Thread 11.20 miles today put me past my goal. Finally the weather was halfway nice and I got a decent run. It looks like just about everyone has a good chance to make their goals. Keep moving horses. Do it for the team. Don't let the rest of us down. I would crawl if I had to (if it were allowed) to help the team. |
