Afternoon all!!

Sorry haven't been around much.   Was doing some painting last night and today. 

Just finished up lunch, pb&j, yogurt and pear. 

I love to listen to my shuffle outside and watch movies/TV on the treadmill.  I TiVo my fav. shows during the day and at night cuz usually can't watch those in front of the kidlets.   Then when they are playing upstairs or in bed I run and catch up.

My music preferences are  totally across the board except for country (just can't do it).  Have beastie boys, nina simon, justin timberlake, madonna, dido, christina agulara, mary J, jewel, sinatra, even some classical, ac/dc, little bit of everything but country.

I have a hard time eating Mexican for lunch.  I just enjoy it sooooo much better with a margarita on the rocks w/no salt.  Since those aren't condusive to a productive afternoon at work, I usually do Mexican for dinner

Madonna is great for cycling.  My brother put about 600 songs on my playlist...I only like about 25 of them.  I need to update it.  I'd like to just download the top 40. 

Yeah its difficult to resist the call of the margarita. I spend a lot of time staring at the large glasses hanging over bar and thinking about how wonderful one would taste. Then a friend will nudge me and hand me a napkin to wipe the drool off my chin

I'm contemplating running a 5K tomorrow morning, but I'm not sure if its worth the 30 min drive.  We'll see how I feel when I wake up.

Does anyone have any fun plans for the weekend?

I think I'll be watching football, trying to get my online christmas shopping done, and maybe trying to clean the apartment a little.  Exciting life I know.  Don't be jealous

I'm getting the new Macbook. I love it! I shopped around a couple weeks ago and will hit the Apple store tomorrow to buy. I have to get it before the end of the year so I have it as a biz write-off.

LOL.  Proper grammar has always been a pet peeve of mine.  Course I can't spell worth a darn but oh well!  My punctuation is usually correct!

It's my second-to-last qualifier for the NYC mary next year so I wasn't going to actually race it, but after a good run today, I think i might actually make an effort. I do love races.

Grammar is important

Welcome to the club.  As I type this on my Macbook.  It is the best computer out there.  I haven't had the chance to check out the new one.  Lucky you!  

I'm jealous.  Not a whole lotta options here in iowa in the dead of winter.  Although I may be picking up a race in San Diego in January when I'm out there on vacation 

How is Iowa in the winter? Freezing? San Diego would be nice. It's running season in NYC so there are tons and tons of races.

Grammar is important

My grandma was an english teacher.  It's darn near a sin for me to have bed grammer  

We joke that it's a cult. People make the move and then get totally obsessed with Mac. I hope I love it. It's really nice, I've used the older Macbook and they made some nice updates.
