got a swim in and gave pilates a try for the first time. I was surprised by how much I could do, but the rest of the workout will have to wait because I'm watching Battlestar Galactica.

pwrbunt - 2009-03-06 8:36 PM Hey Fellow Peeps, Glad to hear someone got in a ride then having a steak! I skipped my run today due to work and enjoying some pasta and red wine. Will make up for it tomorrow on the 40 mile ride. Soooooo looking forward to riding outside. Wish everyone a Great Weekend!!!

Enjoy your ride!!!!! I have sooooooooooooo missed riding outside. It absolutely positutely made my week

there's a 'special' at my local LBS for a bike tune up

thing is - i have no idea if they are any good............................

did i mention i just recently moved here?

Hmmmmm....does your bike need a tune-up?  It might be worth taking advantage of.

I've bought a maintenance guide and a tool kit and am trying to teach myself to do all the suggested regular maintenance.  If I happen to be successful I just want to let you know that I do work for beer

I made it to the 5 am masters workout despite only getting 3 hours of sleep last night.

It is almost 7:30 and I am calling it a night.

Have a great weekend all.

disturbed275 - 2009-03-06 8:30 PM So I sorta maybe ate an entire 1.75 lb sirloin tonight.  Absolutely fantastic.  If I have a slow run tomorrow I know what to blame

So, did you lose 1.75 lbs this morning?

Especially get the chain checked - If the chain has stretched, you would risk damaging the cassette.  Would you rather pay for 25 to 40 bucks for a chain or well over 120 bucks for a cassette?

I'm supposed to run a trial Mary this morning.  Problem - dark, gloomy skies with temps in the upper '30s, and it's raining.   I don't have proper rain gear.  I'd rather it be snowing.

I'm canceling, which I'm not happy about.

Well, it stopped raining for the time being, and I already committed to helping out with b-ball.

After b-ball tonight, I'll head over to Dick's Sporting Goods and look for a wet-weather suit for tomorrow's makeup run.
