Some fresh brew and sushi at Sakura with friends and I am ready to turn in. I didn't get in any extra workouts today, other than swimming, but at the studio I have been hauling around, and lifting 50# buckets of sand (we use this in casting). Maybe that counts for a weight workout. I sure hope it does 'cause I was totally spent when we were done. The pine pollen is so thick right now I can write may name on the hood of my truck (multiple times, it keeps coming down) I can feel my allergies kicking in. It is supposed to rain, a lot, later this week, so that should help some. Hope every one else had a good day! ooooh pine pollen gets me to. im w GPOL, curious, what you casting? im assuming pottery..... Actually I am casting little cast iron houses. It's part of a bigger installation that has to do with my take on the housing crisis in America. We have a week-long confrence starting next Sunday, where hundreds of artists get together and do iron casting and have presentations. There is also a great deal of fun, food, and beer. It's always a huge challenge to keep up with training. I iwll probably be limited to running. iron houses. neat. i would have never guessed that. the installation sounds fascinating. id love to hear what your take is on the housing crisis ie how your depicting that artistically. very interesting. and your conference sounds like great fun. good for you for even attempting to keep up w the training in the midst of what im sure is really busy week for you - fun, yet busy. |
