wgraves7582 - 2009-12-07 6:48 AM Stacie,

I would imagine either son #1 or #2 is filling #3's mind with some junk - typical brotherly love!

yay.  what up with that???

my brother used to 'torture' me ruthlessly, in similiar fashion.

oi vey.
stacieb

Ah, older brothers.  Man, I hated mine growing up because of said torture.  We get along wonderfully now though

i vividly remember mine stuffing me in a box and stick a knife through the sides of it (like Jason from Friday the 13th)

we talked about the 'incident' at our family christmas party last year.

he still thinks its hilarious.

older brothers.

pffffffft!

but....yes, we too get a long MUCH better now....that im too big to stuff in box, that and NOW i can kick the sh^t out of him  if he even attempted, the big bellied mid-lifer that he is....and the uber fit triathlete that i am.

oh karma.  gotta love it.

stacieb

Oh geez.  Reminds me of the time my brother got a hold of the electric hedge trimmers and told me to touch the moving blade because it wasn't sharp.  Yeah, I was gullible.

My brother was so upset the first time I was finally able to kick his a$$.  I've got some good pictures of him getting whooped up on during a little brawl we had in our living room last year.

Gee, I got off light. My big bro just held me by my feet and hit  my head into the floor! No knives or hedge clippers.
He can still pound if he could catch me, good thing I am quicker!

good thing you are ROBIN.

growing up with big bros was just SUCKTASTIC wasnt it??

i cant even remember how many times my brother locked me in a closet or tied me up or left me behind....

good thing were grown.

iowagander - 2009-12-06 6:12 PM Hey Ghoulies! 8.4 miles in the books this afternoon! My longest run ever (by almost 2 miles) and although the legs were a bit heavy after yesterday's pace work, I still had enough for a victory lap around the neighborhood after my 2-loop run.

Oh and Bill, Kim, THANKS for the brinner idea. Pancakes with peanut butter sounds about as close to heaven as can be right now.

8.4 mil....LONGEST RUN EVER....TOM.  YOU ROCK!!!  way to go!

how were the pancakes?

stacieb

I actually ended up making French Toast with strawberries and blackberries on the side, and it was AWESOME!

ok.  you had me at French Toast.

seriously.

WHEN i come to Casa de Tom for brinner, you MUST make me THAT.

iowagander - 2009-12-07 12:31 PM Have I ever mentioned I hate Mondays? My 23 mile commute this morning took TWO HOURS. Now, I have to turn right back around to get home in time to get my wife to her doctor. The fun part about that is that this doctor isn't even in the same AREA CODE as us. Argh. This afternoon will be a really good ST session I think...

two hours to go 23 miles.  oh TOM.  that just BITES....

and now you have to go back out in it.  BAH!

is your wife feeling any better??  i sure hope so....

i always say, put it in the WORKOUT!

the laundry is put away except whats drying in the dryer....why is there always a load of undone laundry????  Blasted!!!

i need to make some appts today.

an eye exam for me.

dental exams for Wild Things 1-3 who have NOT been brushing their teeth well at all.  i hope they catch heck at the dentist office, a cavity needing filling would be a perfect consequence imho.

and i need to schedule a quarterly psych eval for my resident Aspie.

its always something round here.

Mine probably wishes he could whoop up on me - I just wish he would try sometime - we don't see eye to eye.  My sister and I are best of friends now though so that is half alright!

I have some stories for you guys - but another day!

Well just one - my father moved from Colorado out to Buffalo with us so we had to go home and clean his condo out/pack stuff up.  My brother had a ton of carp there and it finally came down to the last day that we were in town and he shows up with his Boyfriend (yes and no it is not hereditary ) to move some stuff (with our trailer of course).

So we are in the basement and there is a huge china cabinet he wants - it is me, my sister, him, his lover, and my nephew.  I pick up one end and start walking towards the stairs and we set it down to readjust - guess who is on the other end of the cabinet - yep - my sister.

I felt like kicking all 3 of their a$$e$ right there - I just shook my head said some choice words to them, and her and I carried it outside.

Now you can see why we get along and why I would rather kick my brothers A$$ Innocent

ok.

that is wrong.  [that it fell on you and your sister to do....]
