We got a dusting here. A little north of us got a bit more. As ususal around here, though, It fell as ice first and everyone who is from up north and "knows how to drive in the stuff" and the idiots from down here that think it is a thrill to go and "see the snow" all go out and wreck together.

Always amazes me. Natural Selection at work.

Here in the north I can see the snow without having to go out and drive in it. Do you want me to bring that trend to the south and see if it catches on?

I can't remember a day when it hasn't snowed lately.

But I will be in Dallas early next week and they are calling for temps in the 70's.  Suntan time

I hate stupid people. Ignorant is okay. Just plain stoopid is beyond annoying.

You can try but the south holds onto its traditions (both good and bad) like a miser holding onto his money. Change does not go over very easily here. Unless it means more all you can eat.

You'd think that they would be slimming down over the years with all the changes in technology.   My hubby had to spend a weekend in the hospital wearing one about 20 years ago, because it was bulky and he had to be within a certain distance of the receiver.  You are lucky you can wear it at home, etc and get on with your life.  Not trying to belittle  your complaint any.

I still have to stay within a certain distance of the receiver. I have to change the pads on my chest every 2 days, change the battery in the monitor every day, charge the receiver every night, and carry it with me from room to room. It was beeping at 4:42 this morning and woke me up, one of the electrodes came off. So I took all of it off and took a shower, then put new electrodes on. Hopefully they stay on a little longer than 10 hours.
