My day so far: up at 6:30 (after going to bed at almost 3), then host site visit followed by an interview for a potential job then on campus to take a test online and a voluntary test that adds points to my final average which means now I only need an 11 on the final to get an A in the class  Now I'm at work until 2:30 then I still have homework due online and an evaluation to fill out about my internship along with finishing my thesis.  I may go lay out with one of my roommates for a couple hours just to get some much needed relaxation!!

Also I really truly think we have found our puppy.  He's in Texas but shipping is included in his price and it's still less than $500.  He's absolutely adorable.  I've been emailing the breeder back and forth and she's been extremely helpful and answered all my questions.  I'm waiting for an updated picture of him now and then it's all up to James to decide but last night he told me he wanted to get him

TR, you need to frame those pics.  Either that .....or next time you esca[e to the mountains you need to take me with you   Gorgeous!!

Welcome back, Rachael!

Finished my goals tonight. I see Dee maxed this spreadsheet at 100! so I can't post any more workouts on the spreadsheet cause it's dumb to raise goasl at the last week just because.

What? Noooooo. We can't do that to you.

OK. I've removed the limits. You can now work out until you get to, like, 9,456,976% of your goals.

Morning All! Well, as usual I bit off more than I could chew with my goals, but I still had a decent months training considering my Mum was here and Easter was in the middle. Last tri of the season this Sunday and I think its going to be a wet one!

As for next month, I wouldn't mind the fruit and veg part back either, or whatever anyone else wants. I'm in anyway

Ok Crushers, I am after ideas.... Its my friends birthday in a few weeks and I was thinking of getting her a magazine subscription. Now she lives in Canada and already gets Self magazine to cover fitness but she really really loves cooking and entertaining so I thought a recipe based mag might be good. I subscribe to Delicious over here which is wonderful, recipes, restaurant and cafe reviews, travel articles etc, but I was wondering if anyone could recommend a good Canadian or US magazine that I can order for her?

Clean Eating is a good one. Runners World has amazing recipes, if she's a runner .. as for Canadian mags - The Walrus is hugely popular as a general interest mag ..
There's also a number of smaller magazines geared towards the city she's in - where does she live?

Well Crushers I sucked at this month's challenge. Life sort of got away from me there, eek.
But I think I'm back on track - NO- I *am* back on track. I've said it, so it must be so.

The big stupid fight I had with my boyfriend is all resolved (although it's still all his fault) ... I get my truck tomorrow, repaired and better than new ... work is still a bad situation, but there's not much I can do about that except wait patiently for a transfer or promotion or something - my new tactic is to do as good of a job as possible, just to my boss off - she hates it when she has nothing to yell at me for!

I really have no excuse not to fall back into my training program, short of laziness ...

So that said - what's our May challenge?

I am doing a half marathon on Sunday, however, the past two weeks have really sucked.  My son has been sick twice and I got sick with a horrible fever once.  I managed to get my last long run done before I got sick, though.  My runs, since, have been pretty much non-existent.  I was hoping to go for a half mary PR.  Maybe the ample rest I've received over the past 10 days will equal a good race.  One can only hope.  Here's hoping for a good May challenge!

If we have a challenge next month, my biggest challenge would be doing little to nothing.

I swear, I am totally incapable of under-doing it, and that is EXACTLY what I need to do right now. And probably for a good month after I think I don't need to, already.

Help!

He's doing a lot better today.  He still has the runs, though.  He's starting to eat some solid food again so hopefully that will help.  The poor guy gets a terribly worried look on his face when he's about blow his shorts out.  He runs to the diaper changing spot!  I think he might be ready for potty training as soon as his system is back to normal.  He, obviously, knows what is about to happen! Surprised
