Hey guys....looks like you will have to count me out this weekend. I just have too much to do!!  Plus next weekend is the Irongirl 10 mile race....so I think I should actually run that distance tomorrow so my body won't go into shock during the race!!  I will miss you all, but hopfully will see you at the Wed night run!!!

Have a fun ride. I'm going to stay close to home- promised my kids I'd make them breakfast tomorrow!

I'm like you Tanya, suddenly realized we have the 10 miler next weekend so did a long run today

Here's my proposal for this weekend, and yes I know it's a little crazy:

http://www.beginnertriathlete.com/discussion/training/map.asp?routeid=37436

Aaron wanted a shorter loop, I needed a wicked long one, and Jen and others wanted to start at TTL after the 10 miler and the tri-suit-try-on. I think this meets all requirements.

For single loopers we do a Tour de Chandler from TTL down to Guadalupe, over to Lindsay, down to Pecos, and over into Chandler. 1 Loopers break away at Guadalupe and Hardy and head back north (Total miles 40.6)

For those about to go long, I salute you, we go over to Priest and head down and around a South Mountain loop. I modified the route to avoid the insanity we encountered last time. There's even a leisurely paved multiuse canalway thrown in. (Total miles 82.8)

Feedback, questions, changes?

I think meeting up at the crazy building west of the race is a great idea in order to find good parking.

The loop sizes are perfect also, as well as being relatively flat if you're going long.

I also salute you for throwing in a little AC/DC!!

Don't change a thing!! It's perfect.

Looks good! what time are you planning on starting? If I do the SoMo part I vote on a side trip up to the towers.

So we divide the group into short course, long course, and mountain goats?

SWEET! I like.

I do think I may run the 5K IronGirl (hell there's a medal kids!) But I'll do whatever ride Josh wants to do...see if my bike climbs well, or goes long well or all of the above?

Alright, sounds like we have a quorum. We'll meet at the Tempe Arts Center Parking lot after the Irongirl run and ESCKTC fashion show (about 10AM).

Long riders bring plenty of fluid-energy and/or money for a refuel stop as we aren't stopping back at the cars.

Hey GUYS! Its one of those typical "I may not be there" type of posts again. Josh and I are no where near finished on our final MATLAB projects that are due this week. Good news is: this week is finals and I only have ONE class left for my MS WAHOO!. Bad news - I may miss the first ride with my brand new sexy bike!!!

I will try and text someone or call tomorrow with a final verdict.

BACK to programming...YUCK!

****NEW AND EXITING UPDATE****

Not really.....but wanted to get your attention!! Haha!!

So are we up for a post-Holiday Bash calorie burner/alcohol-sweating-outer ride on Sunday? Like 10 or 11ish?  Maybe just a loop or two of Usery, or a TdG loop or two?  Just wondering if I should plan on this, or if I should plan on a long run.  (I guess Harry will be getting his long bike in on Saturday).  Chime in..........

I like the idea. I'm IN as long as my back is better.  Have a Century ride in January I need to get ready for.

Yoga would help that back, you know!

I'm thinking I'm out--we've got some plans with a friend at that time on Sunday.

Meh, not too interested...would kind of kill the mood Sat if we all knew we had to ride on Sunday.
