Debo la parte del éxito a mis Compañeros de equipo de Manzana. Y sí, cuando su línea signiture declara que merecemos conseguir nuestros objetivos. Yes, a month ago, before the October challenge, I was strictly a walker. I decided after my Sept sprint that to increase my times I would need to learn to run. Along came the Oct challenge and I started. I can walk a 14 minute miles, but now I can run a 12 minute mile. So if I can keep this up and run the full 5K I should be able to knock 6 minutes off of my race times on the run portion. Wow, that's FANTASTIC! Once again, a little hard work pays off. It really is about getting out there regularly, isn't it? Great way to keep the focus!
huh? |

Rise and shine...time for a workout!!! 31 degrees out...I think I'll be running 6.5 this morning... Gah.... A "morning person." One of those people who become bright and cheery the minute the sun peeks over the horizon. I, on the other hand, am on BT too late at night to ever become a morning person.
There is nothing quite as wonderful as watching the first morning light on the horizon. A sunrise run is pure heaven! (when it's more than 30 degrees outside) Mornings ROCK!!!! Course, I'm usually in bed by 8:30 |

Although I was watching TV, so it was ok). Shoulder workout. Both count towards my monthly goals. The clocks change tonight. That's going to mess everything up since it'll get dark so early. Of course, I'm betting those "morning people" will be happy. I've actually gotten a lot of things done today. I mean, a lot of non-BT things, that is! (Good thing, too. Those bills weren't going to pay themselves....) Dee |

You can LOL all you want. It's been banned in TAN though. That's the only rule in TAN - you can't LOL there. You can *snerk* all you want to though. I think Beth has LOL'd in TAN though.... D001 - 2007-11-02 9:08 PM Ok, I guess I have no idea what this means. Is there rules against LOL? I posted in TAN twice, but I can't keep up with the darned thing. Hopefully I didn't break any rules! What's the deal with LOL?sparco - 2007-11-02 10:03 PM Umm...is 'LOL' allowed in Twisnibbin (TWSNBN)? Well, now. That's a good question.... It's not TAN. So I'm thinking it's OK. I'll go with majority opinion though. Ya know --> Twisnibbin is MUCH easier to say than TWSNBN.
busted! I did LOL in TAN - of course that was before I knew there was a rule against it - LOLOLOLOLOLOL! Alrighty then...LOL! |

Well, yeah. But as I said, by the time I found out it just required a simple PM to the moderator, we were on page 10 here. And there were only 6 pages on the old thread. I still wonder if the moderators can somehow incorporate one thread into another.... Just keep reminding everyone that we're REALLY +6 on page count. LOL BTW, I've been playing with the google spreadsheets. If I get more time, I want to set one up for us. Very cool stuff. (Yes, I CAN spell "geek." What about it?) |

Oh goodie!!! If you figure it out can I have a lesson? I already posted a lesson on the other thread. (Where the idea was first mentioned.) As I said, it's really easy. In fact, you could upload your team's spreadsheet right now. I was thinking about creating one that had a daily view. But I don't know if it's necessary. The weekly totals may be enough.... Hm. I set it up before for TWSNBN. Now, if only I could remember the URL for it.... :/ Dee |

Isn't "denial" one of the stages of addiction? You know, like when someone hides a bottle of alcohol under the bathroom sink, because you never know when there will be an "emergency." "No honey, I don't have a BT problem. I thought there was going to be, um, something important announced on TWSNBN today. So I needed to check. Because you know, well, eventually, my team will HAVE to say something... um, well - something besides the trival stuff they always seem to post about....." PS - BRB.... I gotta go check underneath the bathroom sink. I think there's like, an emergency or something.... (Actually, I really AM going to take the dog out now. I should have done it 45 min ago, but then I logged on BT because.... well, you know - I might have missed something important.... or something. LOL) I need a life. |

Yes, there really is... and not even after kids, just once your kids get older. I imagine it is really hard with a 4.5 year old and 18 month old. I really don't know if I would be able to do training with kids that young as I'm single parenting. Hopefully you and your DH can work out a plan together! |
