Could some nice person help me with the spreadsheet.

I was your nice person

It looked like you did THREE bricks this week?  you rock!

There are none recorded for May 1-10... did you have some needing recording?

Well I am off to pack and fly over to my race today (sprint is Sunday), I think I feel good, a little anxiety since I am going alone.   First full race since my foot injury and that is not completely pain free... Dealable though. Volcano on the big island is spuing some nasty smoke and the winds are favorable for hazy air called vog, I really feel bad for the folks doing the Olympic distance.

Thanks everyone for the inspires!

THANK YOU! I really appreciate it   as of today it will be FOUR bricks   None done between 1st-10th.  As you probably all know it's El Scorchio outside.  I did suffer a bit on my bike ride, the hills really killed me..I need more practice.

I will be swimming 1 hour on Monday and running 30 minutes then too. My body seems to be liking the bricks as long as it's not too long.  I just LOVE this weather though. It's gorgeous!

Hope everyone is out enjoying it. I'm going to go lay on my bed underneath my fan. Think I deserve it.

I am looking at that race you sent me...I just have a lot coming up in the next few months: dad will be here for a week starting next week (if is health allows him to travel), July heading to Colorado for ten days for a family reunion, end of July going to San Diego for a tri, August back to SD for a tri...and we usually try to take a trip to Hawaii in September...so, not sure I can fit it into my schedule...much less my budget! REALLY TRYING TO THOUGH! what is the date again?

So which Island are you coming to??? Kauai is the bestest one! I can take you on some great swims. Oh there is this great sprint tri or duathalon that I like to do in sept; it is on Oahu all women!

keep talking! we usually do Maui as we have a great cheap place to stay that is right across from Kamaole Beach in Kihei....but, hey who knows! we have not made reservations yet!

Well, united flies direct to Kauai (Lihue LIH) from San Francisco as well, if you haven't seen our island, you should but if you like night life and more shopping Maui is better. We are a little quiet and very scenic over here. Inter island air fare has gone up since Aloha went out. Very sad.

Have to go take my son to PT be back in a bit!

Quiet is good! I like that! and as for shopping, I would rather not waste my time there doing that...I do like to get the foods that I can not buy here and bring them home...you are a great saleslady...you are doing a good job of getting us your way! will not be making plans for Hawaii though until we return from Colorado in July...we are thinking of taking a motorhome and with gas prices...this may not be a good choice!?!?

You ask what could be worse then this picture?!?!

or this --->

well how about flipping over your handlebars onto the pavement? whatever you do...do not do what I did yesterday!!!! total rookie - DUMB A$$ move!

I did not get my bike ride from yesterday on the spreadsheet..but will feel it in right now...Sorry for the delay....but I had quite a fanciful wreck on my bike! not going to go into detail here...since it is on my blog....I will post a picture later today...as you can see I am going to live and I was able to ride away from it...but I must admit, I am a bit achy today! gotta get out and do another, so that I do not cramp out. Lifting a cup of coffee is....ummmm.....PAINFUL! ;(

Oh one thing that I need to update on the blog is the fact that we had to change three flat tires yesterday! My wreck was the first one...then two others after that..and yes, I still love my bike!

Why do I think that second guy was just showing off and stuck his landing ?!?

I came up a little short on some of the stuff I was going to do last week, but I have the next week off and fewer honey-do projects than I anticipated, so I will get some good training in, and some quality time with each family member, although the little boy might be the toughest.

Got some great training sessions in this weekend, 50 mile bike ride with 4300ft elevation gain on Saturday, 6 mile run and 1/2 hour swim today. I'm a little under on my swim goal so far, but will easily make it up this coming week since it is a swim focus week. I'm well over on my bike goal, and right where I should be on the run. Shouldn't be a problem making my goals this month. Here's a picture from the top of my bike ride Sat. Kind of fun to be able to play in the snow when it's 80 degrees

Hi everyone-

Just got back from two days of lacrosse tournaments with my daughters and realized that I neglected to check everyone's numbers on the spreadsheet.  I offered and then didn't follow thru...so I apologize for that.

What's up with this 3rd place thing? Us westerners can do way better than that!  Hope everyone is well and training hard.  Let's push this thing to the max and blow by those other folks that live in places way way less kewl then where we do.

I tried to make sure the bottom half was up to date, but I also did check a few on the top half. There are a few people who are very low in their numbers. Sounds like you had a great weekend!

Hey James...thanks for the offer...but if you want to help...how about making a sheet with each persons name and then where they are in all the various workouts...for example

gpol...swim 60% run 60% and bike 90% strength...??? (these are not my true numbers but just an example)

if you could do this with the highest numbers on the top of the chart and the lowest numbers on the bottom we can help to motivate those of us who are not quite up to the spot they should be at this point in the challenge...this has seemed to help in past challenges....if you can not do this...just reply and I will do it this afternoon!

Hope everyone is having a good Monday! time to AMP up your workouts...even if you are Leslie and kicking butt at 80%...we need to all shoot for 100% and 110% if possible! LETS GO TEAM! come on if I can ride, run and even swim after a major wreck on my bike over the weekend...you guys can at least try and get to those goals! GO GO GO!!!! if you have been sick or injured let us know and we can adjust your times. But all others....get those buns in gear and go train! no excuses! sorry if that sounds harsh, but I do remember us saying the West is the Best team...I TOTALLY think we are, but we have some major numbers to make up! and we need each and everyone of you to get to your goals you set a few weeks ago!

I am currently at S61.82%, B67%, and R69.86%, for an average of 66.23. I am on a taper week, as DD and I are running a team tri this weekend. Therefore, my averages will seemingly slack off a bit this week, but I'm still on schedule.

We might have to start naming names. There are a few who are either not training, or no logging. C'mon team; surely we can do better than this!
