Champion 6225 | Subject: RE: X-Men WELL MORNING X-MEN. hope you've all recovered from you holiday/sugar hangovers. i tell ya. im SO not used to eating the way we have over the last couple days - 'heavy' food, lots of sweets - all so delicious. a lovely weekend. good times with family. its a taper/brick week for me. and boy am i glad. not only for scheduling reasons but just so's i can taper it back. im feeling the affects of the past few weeks of trng. so the taper is very well placed. just a shortie swim today. im really looking forward to the pool. i got a link from my new tri mentors that you might want to chk out. you put in your personal info, and it generates daily swim plans for you to do....pretty cool stuff. and its free www.swimplan.com i was using the Beginner 3 Month plan on the site, and worked my way through all three months, so the swimplan.com site came in the nick of time as i was beginning to wonder what i would do next. WHATS EVERYONE ELSE UP TO THIS FINE MONDAY??? HAPPY TRNG TODAY! Edited by skrtrnr 2009-04-13 8:24 AM |

Master 1887 Loveland, Ohio | Subject: RE: X-Men Hey, everybody! I'm registered on Swim Plan and have done the time test but haven't used the plans yet, just because I've been doing a different swim plan (lower case on purpose) and it doesn't fit. I'll probably be using it for a few weeks after my tri this Saturday before my HIM plan starts on May 10. But I've heard nothing but good things about it. I'll be sure to let you know... |

Champion 6225 | Subject: RE: X-Men MORNING X-MEN. my first of four bricks on tap for later on today at the Y, swim to bike. the end of the week is gonna be RIDICULOUSLY NICE. im gonna do my 2nd brick (bike to run) outside on Thurs. YEAH! race day is coming up QUICK. and im super silly excited! i just an invite to TEAM get-togthers - one from the MASTERS SWIM TEAM that meets at our Y. i got invite to trn w them a few months back, but the timing wasnt 'good' for me to start practicing with them. im hoping to make a few practices before the MS150, but after that event, im hoping to swim w them 2-3 days a week. ive heard FABULOUS things about how fun and friendly they are. and my MS150 TEAM will be meeting for the first time. an informational get-together, most the team members are complete strangers to me. so im looking forward to meeting some folks and getting the inside scoop on the ride. never having been an athlete before, or participated on team, its SUCH a good feeling to be a part of something, ya know? to be a part of a team has a really awesome vibe to it. new to me, but awesome! onward! |
