It's uncomfortable. It's a pain in the azz. The wires are bulky and make it look like an alien is living under my shirt. You'd think that they would be slimming down over the years with all the changes in technology. My hubby had to spend a weekend in the hospital wearing one about 20 years ago, because it was bulky and he had to be within a certain distance of the receiver. You are lucky you can wear it at home, etc and get on with your life. Not trying to belittle your complaint any. I still have to stay within a certain distance of the receiver. I have to change the pads on my chest every 2 days, change the battery in the monitor every day, charge the receiver every night, and carry it with me from room to room. It was beeping at 4:42 this morning and woke me up, one of the electrodes came off. So I took all of it off and took a shower, then put new electrodes on. Hopefully they stay on a little longer than 10 hours. I know it is a big giant pain in the . BUT, selfishly, I want it to help figure out what is wrong so it can be fixed. I do, too. It's just a huge inconvenience right now. |

Master 3479 Utah | Subject: RE: Ghoulie Azzatar challenge- do it or else!! Hi guys. I am tired today. i was up with my boy until 2;15 this morning, then up to get both kids dropped off at school at 6:30 this morning. i almost popped in to say good morning before i went to bed, but thought better of it and just went to bed. We got his costume done, and his posterboard for today's oral report/"wax" museum done. Now tonight we get to write his written report (thank heavens we got an extension from him missing 2 weeks of school. LOL). I'm off to go shower and head back over to the boy's school for the presentations. then to work for a lunchtime meeting. if i didn't need the pay so bad, I wouldn't go. Hope everyone's day is good. Hang in there Ann. Robin gave good advice, and we all just want you better (yourself included). Mwah! |
