Hubby, son and I will be exchanging some of our gifts so that we don't have to haul a lot with us to Virginia. As it is, the car is going to be pretty darn full. We are trying to take a small frig up so that my daughter can use it. With four kids, she needs a lot of frig space. |

I did return a pair of pants this morning before work and then started to look around, but finally but down my pile and walked out without buying anything. I have $110 in Kohls bucks to spend after xmas, so I should just wait until then, shouldn't I? I'm the same way. I was done shopping for the kids a month ago, yet I've managed to spend another $300 on them. I do need to stop by the grocery store later this week, but nothing is tempting to me there.
sooooooooooooooooo jealous~ I have been a STUPID funk and just can not seem to find the holiday spirit ~ so I am just beginning my shopping!!! SUX TO BE ME!?!! haha Other than having the tree up my house isn't decorated. I do like shopping for the kiddos though, so that part was easy. Now I just need to find time to wrap the presents when they aren't around. I may have to send them on some errands on Friday.
I did manage to get most of the wrapping done this weekend. I do have some items for the grandkids already at their house, which I guess I should be nice and let my daughter know that i will wrap them when I get there so that she doesn't have to do all of that. Or, I could just pull the travel card and say after spending 12 hours in a car, I'm too tired to wrap. We shall see. this year I am wrapping most stuff in cloth sacs. It is making it a whole lot easier to pack in a smaller space. one year we were doing the same thing ~ I was wrapping gifts in the wee hours and my husband was putting together a new bike for the dd....and to our surprise ~ the power went out!!!! and did not come back on~ try explaining to your daughter in the early morning when she comes barrelling into your bedroom ~ cant remember how we delayed running to the tree ~ but I do remember her face went from the moral of this story is dont wait til christmas eve ghoulies |
