Ha ha ha ha ha ... too late ... (spoken as a recently converted crazy cat lady who used to be a dedicated dog person) ...

See, it's the cat that makes you crazy. Once you already have it, then it's got its little claws in your heart and psyche and you're well on your way.

Tilly is a cutie pie. Just like her mom ... rag dolls are great cats, on the whole very sweet and docile and, because of their structure, awfully fun to play with.

OMG. i can't believe I actually know what cats from what and anything about them ... heeeelp me ...

And for cryin' out loud, all i've been doing for the last three days is crying about my poor lost kitty ... I think I am beyond help.

You are beyond help.  You're now a cat person.

Do you remember how completely insane I went when I first got them and how much I hated them? I had no idea what to do with cats and couldn't believe how loud/dirty/weird they were.

Aww...Yanti, I'm so sorry.  I'm definitely thinking of you and the kitties and praying for her safe return.

Lol - he is more worried about things like dressing them up and getting too many accessories andstuff I think!

Yeah - I didnt want a 'cat' as such... Ive always wanted a Ragdoll as they are just so lovely in nature and the indoor aspect of it is nice too! Plus they are fully trainable to do things like fetch etc - while we were there S had her doing little high fives with him!

Had the gift of time tonight so wanted to stop by my old stomping grounds to catch up a bit .

Cat... Tilly is precious.  I have a ragdoll, too (he's a mitted seal point).  He is quite a character... never a dull moment... but he's well worth it because not only does he make me laugh everyday, but also, despite me being highly allergic to most kitties, Bailey the Wonder Cat doesn't make me sneeze, itch or wheeze even a little bit.

Aww so good to hear some real feedback. I never used to have allergies but Ive had hayfever pretty badly spring and autumn this year...

No troubles with the kitty when I went to the breeders and we were there well over an hour so I would have known!

I cant wait to get her - mid to late next week... I think she will also be fantastic company, especially on the days where I need to put my health first and be good and stay home!

haha - yes thats why I prefer cats! I think a dog would need me too much for the hours Im working!

haha - yes thats why I prefer cats! I think a dog would need me too much for the hours Im working!

I don't know.  My cats greet me at the door when I get home and if I've been away for a few days, once I sit down you can usually find at least two cats sitting on me and one nearby.  But I do like the fact that I can leave them for a week with food, water and kitty litter box and know they will be okay.  Unlike the dog who always needed to go to a kennel.

Depends on the cats.  My cats need us to come home.  After a few days without people, they are clearly upset and can't wait for us to walk in the door and pet them and sit with us.  Then again, they hang out with us most of the time on the couch at night and one of them sleeps with me.

Interesting. I don't think of cats as 'social.' Then again, I'm obviously lacking in cat-ownership knowledge and experience! (And no, Yanti, I have no plans to get a cat. Nor do I want to walk down the street screaming, "Hot Sex! Suicide!" (And if you don't understand that, you need to read Yanti's blog more often. LOL))

The two cats we had for almost 15 years were very anti-social.  They only would come to me and my wife.  Stupid cats.
