We've been cold this winter, but spared from all the snow. I expect us to get hammered next winter. Maybe I'll have to bring the kids and visit for a few months. How are the schools down there?

It's all relative and we have wonderful airconditioning.  The mountains are way cooler than the flats.

It's not new, been there for a couple of years now.  LOL
I just cleaned off one of the three I had because new BT regs say that quotes can't take up more than 5 lines and that includes blank lines.

I could have sworn yesterday you had the one about the learners inheriting the earth.

Must be a heat wave coming everywhere soon.  They're predicting a temperature that starts with a 5 midweek next week........and it's not a single digit temp!  I may have to get the roadie in riding condition this weekend

I hope so!  I'd be quite happy if spring decided to stick around after next week.  This is pretty unheard of for mid February around here

I'm just hoping it isn't the calm before the storm. We've gotten 3 feet of snow in March before.

I try to never get my hopes up about early spring. March and even April are sneaky months. I try to look at the nice days as gift days.

I'm going to have to agree with you. We've even been cold in May a few times.

I have been up and down the manic mood swing brought on by thinking warm weather is here finally WAY to many times. I am a gardenaholic and love to be outdoors, period. My friends who exercise in gyms and are indifferent to the weather, think I am very emotional! I am trying to be better about it.

I'm with you. I would rather be outside than inside. I was exciting driving Milo to obedience training the other night becuase I realized it was 6:00 and it wasn't completely dark yet.

i almost slept in thinking it was a 2 hour delay again today.

good thing my kids woke me up in time.  geesh!

well there off to school and the client i usually see to today (9 to 2) cancelled at the last minute.

so i have unscheduled day to myself.


hmmmmm.  what to do what to do.

its cold but sunny outside.  i'll probably run/walk later on today.

other than im just tooling around on the internet, researching self-esteem activities that my 'underlings' to do with my clients during their sessions.

i made my reservation at a campsite for our 2nd vacation this summer.

im totally psyched.  its just 40 mins up the road.  the state park next door has a annual regatta the weekend we made our reservations for.  PACKED FULL of all sorts of activities - kayaking, fishing, nature walks, et al.  AND fireworks!

the cabin were staying in is SERIOUSLY nicer than some motels ive stayed in.  the campgrounds have a heated pool and playground and bike trail to the State Park.

you can watch the fireworks from the campground.

i always LOVED our beach vacation but i ALWAYS wanted to try/do other things.  DH always put the kabosh on that.

this is the one upside of not being together anymore....now i get to do/take the kids to places i always wanted to go.  DC....camping....the SKIES THE LIMIT.
