Yesterday was supposed to be my rest day but I woke up early after my nightshift and I couldn´t sleep anymore because there were too many thoughts in my head so I decided to go biking instead to clear my head. Had a very easy and fun bike ride (went through some new neighbourhoods and looked at houses).

Look, I'm sorry that not a single T-Mobile rider has placed in the top 5 in any of the stages.  At all.  Even the prologue.  So sorry.  Really. 

I'm so sorry Robbie didn't come first today,  although he was the first loser. YAY!!

Hey Team T-Mobile!  I have been traveling the last couple of days and out of pocket.  I will be riding 1.5 hours today sometime before bedtime then probably again on Sunday.  I will be stopping by logs to see how you are doing and leave a little inspire.

Hey all! What do you think of T-Mobile taking the lead after Stage-7? Let's keep it in there, and let's get everyone to place all that mileage in. We need to take the leade over everyone else on this virtual T-Mobile that we have.

Great job on everyone logs, you're all doing good in training.

I was most impressed by that rabid frothing animal's performance - unlike with the t-mobile riders on this thread.

Hi - just to let you know Im operating on USA time so the first reporting day is Monday (tomorrow) - team leader (Nette213) could you please either email me the results (PM me for the addy) OR post them in the team leaders thread by/on Tuesday so I can do an update by Wednesday AM.

Also if any individuals have had PRs, PBs or any other personal achievements then feel free to include them if you want (up to the individual/team)

After such a fabulous day yesterday (stage 7) with Linus giving the team a magnificent stage win, today (stage 8) is indeed a sad sad day for T-Mobile, especially for my mate Mick.

I dedicate the remainder of my rides (as small and lame as they may be) to the champion team that is T-Mobile......GO T-Mobile GO!!!!!!

I will post the weeks results before the end of the day.  As of now, not counting any rides from today, as a group, we have 54 hours on the bike!

Hey gang, here are the weeks totals.  I have submitted them to the leaders thread but if you see anything that I have missed, let me know and I will update the data.  We have all done great and I look forward to the next weeks rides!!!

I am sorry I was away for a few days because my father-in-law passed away very sudden on Tuesday last week and we had to go to Denmark.

I am back in Iceland now and  I have been doing good and 5 rides done (if you count the mini-ride I did in DK on Sunday) from 10 so half-way through

Hi - there has been a few requests in the last 24 hours to STOP posting live TDF updates in team threads. This is due to a lot of people wanting to watch the action later in the day WITHOUT knowing the results.

Would enough people be interested in taking the live action related discussions to another thread out of the team threads to avoid this issue? Team leaders can you please let me know?

I must admit Im probably the most guilty of this as I genuinely want teams to know whats happening with their pro counterparts to really get into it... and with me watching it live til 2am then heading straight it bed I get REALLY excited and post results...

But... its more a time difference related head spin. I totally understand having to delay watching the action... I know not everyone can devote their whole life to TDF action for a month!

So my suggestion... is this....

1) No results from the previous nights stage will be posted in any Team thread until the next days stage starts... giving everyone 24 hours to watch the action or at least KNOW what to expect

2) Set up a seperate TDF Challenge - Live Action thread for teams to talk about their pro riders... (if there is enough interest)

3) If teams are happy to have stage updates posted in their Team thread let me know and I will continue - otherwise 24 hour code of silence applies to EVERYONE taking part in the challenge
