1.  Go to the team spreadsheet
2.  You must sign in with the btchallenge email and password, not your own personal gmail account (sign in as a differenct user)

Email: btchallenge
Password: challengeforum

That should allow you into the team spreadsheet.

Long run done. Maybe a short bike ride tonight to finish off the week.

Got a nap in this afternoon as well...nothing beats a short nap to recharge for the rest of the day.

Evening ride done. Battery on my bike light went dead 1/2 way through the ride so it was dark and a little unsafe, but kept to the uncrowded side roads (which made it even darker!) to get back home.

Rest day tomorrow.

Hiya, chanticleers!

Sorry I've been MIA for a few days.  Came down with some sort of bug and had to take a few days to rest and recover.  Got back on the bike today for a short, easy spin.  Plan is to take it easy this week, stay healthy, and be ready to race this weekend.

Good morning.  Well, I didn't do the ride on Saturday. I sat around feeling all sorry for myself like a wet blanket.  Decided I need a good kick up the arse and went on a ride yesterday.  Very nice.   I bought these clip on aero bars last year from Ebay and just finally got around to putting them on last night.  So today I am going to try them out with another wee ride

Hope everyone had a lovely long weekend.

It is stormy in Lubbock today, so I wont be able to get outside. Am going to take a ride on my rollers, but I never know how far I go on those things. any suggestions on how to log a workout on the 'ol rollers?

Keep up the good work!

I would just log it as a bike workout. I have in the past.  I mean you're still on your bike even though you're not outside, right?  I even log spin bike as a bike workout.

Do you just log it as time? Do you ever put any distance on it? I definitely want it to count towards our team goals!

Depends on if your goals are in minutes/hours, or in distance.

If you don't have a cycle computer on your bike, just take the average mph from your most recent outdoor rides, and convert to miles.  This is assuming you rode on the rollers at about the same effort as your outside rides.

For example, if your average mph on last few rides was 17.5, and you rode your bike 30 minutes, then log 8.75 miles.

Yep, what sparco said. Just calculate your mileage based on the time of the ride. Definately counts towards your goals.

Run completed early this morning. Didn't get to bed until late and really wanted to snooze this morning. But, busy day and evening so didn't want to push it off.

Did NOTHING yesterday, but had a great time with the family.  That's what holidays are for, right?

Quick run on the treadmill this morning.

Okay - starting to get back in the groove.  Got in a nice run this evening.  It really makes the work night go by much quicker when I can break up my 12 hours with a run.  Not only do I get to play outside but I also get a nice energy jolt to keep me awake for the final hours.

I'm off work for the next 3 days so I'm hoping to get plenty of rest and some quality pre-race workouts.  On the docket for tomorrow - a swim, some homework, lots of errands, a nap, and (time permitting) a time trial with the local cycle club.

Hey team.  Been fighting a cold since Sunday so not much training getting doneFrown.  In one way it's a good week to be sick since the gym is closed for cleaning this week and I can't swim anyway, but on the other hand, I have a half marathon on Sunday so being sick is not so good.  Hopefully I'll be over this by the weekend and after my half is over, I can get back to swimming/biking on a regular basis and get some points for the team!

Just a quick spin for me this morning.  Part of the prescribed taper schedule for Saturday's race...
