Is it just me, or is the whole BMI thing more likely to be inaccurate for males?  Seems like a lot of fit-looking men fall into the overweight or obese category, but this isn't the case as much with women. 

I think you're right about this.  For me bodyfat % is still so much more accurate than the BMI.  At nearly 6'1 and 190 pounds I'm nearly obese by BMI, yet I'm like 10% bodyfat and in good shape.  Go figure.

My doctor even says to take the BMI with a grain of salt.  My BF % (as of this morning) was 16%.  That falls into 'healthy'.  My BMI says 26: overweight.  While I admit to having 'love handles', I also have definition around my abs. 

Then again, I question the Gov't a LOT more these days...
