I will sweet talk all of my bikes, and curse them out, and my bikes don't mind when i sweet talk someone elses bike. i think of naming them, but that makes it personal, and i don't like to get to personal with a piece of equipment, since i like change and will probably dissassemble and upgrade or replace in short fashion anyway.

I have named my bikes, but never call them bu their names. I call my tri bike (named Hot Momma) tri bike, and I call my road bike (named Blue Bayou aka "blew by you" road bike. Mtb is called dirty bi#@ch but I called bi#@ch for short......

I have to admit, Blue Bayou is semi-OK, IF you just have to name your bike. You get extra credit though IF the bike is blue, made by Blue or was originally owned by Linda Ronstadt.
