I suppose I meet this category.  Mostly because I don't get on a bike.

You can do this by 2-3x sessions a week 45-60 min each (on the trainer or outside). I’ll post a periodirized plan including different cycles (or phases), tests, sessions and anyone with a power meter, HR or even training by RPE will be welcome to play

I'll be really interested when you post this.  Need all the help I can get on the bike (not riding enough is one issue).  Like others, I started Tri's with no background in any discipline, but being light and lean, the run has come easier so far - even though it wasn't fun at the beginning - but the bike has me below MOP.  Want to improve that for next year.

Ditto!  My bike is my biggest limiter IMO. Not just how fast I can/can't go but pacing for the run afterwards.

smilford - 2008-10-30 6:20 PM I've always said power to weight ratio is what is important.

Only if you're going uphill.

It's all about picking the right races   As someone who's racing weight is close to 130lbs I don't even come close to matching some of the bigger guys on flat bike courses but give me a hill and I'm flying   As you can imagine, I seek out the races with the most hills in.
